约拿祷告
2 约拿从鱼腹中向耶和华他的 神祷告，
2 说：
“我从患难中求告耶和华，
他就应允我；
我从阴间的深府呼求，
你就垂听我的声音。
3 你把我投入深海，
在海洋的深处，
大水环绕我；
你的洪涛、你的波浪，都漫过我。
4 我说：‘我虽从你眼前被赶逐，
我仍要仰望你的圣殿。’
5 众水包围我，几乎置我于死地；
深渊环绕我；
海草缠裹我的头。
6 我下沉直到山麓，
大地的门闩把我永远关闭；
耶和华我的 神啊！你却把我的性命从坑中拉上来。
7 当我心灵疲弱时，
我就思念耶和华；
我的祷告直达你面前，
进入你的圣殿。
8 那敬奉虚妄之偶像的人，
实在是离弃了怜爱他们的 神（“怜爱他们的 神”原文作“他们的恩典”）。
9 至于我，我要带着感谢的声音向你献祭；
我所许的愿，我必偿还。
救恩是属于耶和华的。”
10 于是耶和华吩咐那鱼，鱼就把约拿吐在陆地上。

Oración de Jonás
2 Entonces Jonás oró al Señor su Dios desde el vientre del pez, 2 y dijo:
«Señor, en mi angustia te invoqué, y tú me oíste.
Desde el fondo del abismo clamé a ti,
y tú escuchaste mi voz.
3 Me echaste a las profundidades del mar,
y las corrientes me rodearon;
¡todas tus ondas y tus olas pasaron sobre mí!
4 Entonces dije:
“Me has desechado delante de tus ojos,
pero todavía he de ver tu santo templo.”
5 Las aguas me rodearon hasta el cuello,
y el abismo me envolvió.
¡Las algas se enredaron en mi cabeza!
6 Bajé hasta los cimientos de los montes;
la tierra echó para siempre sus cerrojos sobre mí;
pero tú, mi Señor y Dios, rescataste mi vida del sepulcro.
7 Cuando dentro de mí desfallecía mi alma,
me acordé de ti, Señor,
Y mi oración llegó hasta ti, hasta tu santo templo.
8 Los que siguen vanidades ilusorias,
abandonan tu misericordia.
9 Pero yo, con voz de alabanza,
te ofreceré sacrificios y cumpliré mis promesas.
La salvación es tuya, Señor.»
10 Y el Señor ordenó al pez que vomitara a Jonás en tierra.

2 1 [a]From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. 2 He said:
“In my distress I called(A) to the Lord,(B)
and he answered me.
From deep in the realm of the dead(C) I called for help,
and you listened to my cry.
3 You hurled me into the depths,(D)
into the very heart of the seas,
and the currents swirled about me;
all your waves(E) and breakers
swept over me.(F)
4 I said, ‘I have been banished
from your sight;(G)
yet I will look again
toward your holy temple.’(H)
5 The engulfing waters threatened me,[b]
the deep surrounded me;
seaweed was wrapped around my head.(I)
6 To the roots of the mountains(J) I sank down;
the earth beneath barred me in forever.
But you, Lord my God,
brought my life up from the pit.(K)
7 “When my life was ebbing away,
I remembered(L) you, Lord,
and my prayer(M) rose to you,
to your holy temple.(N)
8 “Those who cling to worthless idols(O)
turn away from God’s love for them.
9 But I, with shouts of grateful praise,(P)
will sacrifice(Q) to you.
What I have vowed(R) I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation(S) comes from the Lord.’”
10 And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.
