約伯認罪
42 約伯回答耶和華說：
2 “我知道你萬事都能作，
你的旨意是不能攔阻的。
3 這以無知無識的言語使 神的旨意模糊不清的是誰呢？
所以我說了我所不明白的；
這些事太奇妙，是我不曉得的。
4 求你聽我，我要說話；
我要問你，你要告訴我。
5 我從前只是風聞有你，
但現在親眼看見你。
6 因此我厭惡自己，
在塵土和灰燼中懊悔。”

7 耶和華對約伯說了這些話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：“我要向你和你的兩個朋友生氣，因為你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。 8 現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裡去，為你們獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就替你們禱告；我悅納他的禱告，就不按照你們的愚昧待你們。你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。” 9 於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法，照著耶和華吩咐他們的去行，耶和華就悅納約伯的禱告。
加倍賜福約伯
10 約伯替他的朋友禱告，耶和華就恢復約伯原來的景況，還照約伯以前所有的一切加倍賜給他。 11 約伯的眾兄弟姊妹和以前認識的人都來見他，在他家裡與他一同吃飯，又因耶和華降予他的一切災禍都對他表同情，安慰他，每人送他一塊銀子和一個金環。 12 這樣，耶和華後來賜給約伯的福比先前更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千匹駱駝、一千對牛、一千頭母驢。 13 他也有七個兒子和三個女兒。 14 他給長女起名叫耶米瑪，次女名叫基洗亞，三女名叫基連．哈樸。 15 在那全地中，找不到像約伯女兒那麼美貌的婦女。她們的父親在她們兄弟中間把產業分給她們。
約伯逝世
16 此後，約伯又活了一百四十年，得見他的兒孫到四代。 17 這樣，約伯年紀老邁，壽終而死。

42 Entonces Job respondió al Señor, y dijo:
2 Yo sé que tú puedes hacer todas las cosas(A),
y que ningún propósito tuyo puede ser estorbado.
3 «¿Quién es este que oculta el consejo sin entendimiento(B)?».
Por tanto, he declarado lo que no comprendía,
cosas demasiado maravillosas para mí(C), que yo no sabía.
4 «Escucha ahora, y hablaré;
te preguntaré y tú me instruirás(D)».
5 He sabido de ti solo de oídas(E),
pero ahora mis ojos te ven(F).
6 Por eso me retracto,
y me arrepiento en polvo y ceniza.
7 Y sucedió que después que el Señor habló estas palabras a Job, el Señor dijo a Elifaz temanita: Se ha encendido mi ira contra ti y contra tus dos amigos, porque no habéis hablado de mí lo que es recto, como mi siervo Job(G). 8 Ahora pues, tomad siete novillos y siete carneros(H), id a mi siervo Job y ofreced holocausto(I) por vosotros, y mi siervo Job orará por vosotros(J). Porque ciertamente a él atenderé[a] para no hacer con vosotros conforme a vuestra insensatez(K), porque no habéis hablado de mí lo que es recto, como mi siervo Job. 9 Y Elifaz temanita y Bildad suhita y Zofar naamatita fueron e hicieron tal como el Señor les había dicho; y el Señor aceptó a[b] Job.
10 Y el Señor restauró el bienestar de Job cuando este oró por sus amigos; y el Señor aumentó al doble todo lo que Job había poseído(L). 11 Entonces todos sus hermanos y todas sus hermanas y todos los que le habían conocido antes(M), vinieron a él y comieron pan con él en su casa; se condolieron de él y lo consolaron(N) por todo el mal que el Señor había traído sobre él. Cada uno le dio una moneda de plata[c], y cada uno un anillo de oro. 12 El Señor bendijo los últimos días de Job más que los primeros[d](O); y tuvo catorce mil ovejas, seis mil camellos, mil yuntas de bueyes y mil asnas(P). 13 Y tuvo siete hijos y tres hijas(Q). 14 Llamó a la primera Jemina, a la segunda Cesia y a la tercera Keren-hapuc. 15 Y en toda la tierra no se encontraban mujeres tan hermosas como las hijas de Job; y su padre les dio herencia entre sus hermanos. 16 Después de esto vivió Job ciento cuarenta años, y vio a sus hijos y a los hijos de sus hijos, hasta cuatro generaciones. 17 Y murió Job, anciano y lleno de días(R).

42 Then Job replied to the Lord:
2 “I know that you can do all things;(A)
no purpose of yours can be thwarted.(B)
3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’(C)
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.(D)
4 “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.’(E)
5 My ears had heard of you(F)
but now my eyes have seen you.(G)
6 Therefore I despise myself(H)
and repent(I) in dust and ashes.”(J)
Epilogue
7 After the Lord had said these things to Job(K), he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends,(L) because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.(M) 8 So now take seven bulls and seven rams(N) and go to my servant Job(O) and sacrifice a burnt offering(P) for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer(Q) and not deal with you according to your folly.(R) You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”(S) 9 So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite(T) did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.(U)
10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes(V) and gave him twice as much as he had before.(W) 11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before(X) came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him,(Y) and each one gave him a piece of silver[a] and a gold ring.
12 The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. 13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. 15 Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.
16 After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. 17 And so Job died, an old man and full of years.(Z)

42 Nang magkagayo'y sumagot si Job sa Panginoon, at nagsabi,
2 (A)Nalalaman ko na magagawa mo ang lahat ng mga bagay,
At wala kang akala na mapipigil.
3 (B)Sino itong nagkukubli ng payo na walang kaalaman?
Kaya't aking sinambit na hindi ko nauuunawa,
(C)Mga bagay na totoong kagilagilalas sa akin na hindi ko nalalaman.
4 Dinggin mo, isinasamo ko sa iyo, at ako'y magsasalita;
Ako'y magtatanong sa iyo, at magpahayag ka sa akin.
5 Narinig kita sa pakikinig ng pakinig;
Nguni't ngayo'y nakikita ka ng aking mata,
6 Kaya't ako'y (D)nayayamot sa sarili, at nagsisisi ako
Sa alabok at mga abo.
Nagalab ang poot ng Panginoon sa tatlong kaibigan ni Job.
7 At nangyari, na pagkatapos na masalita ng Panginoon ang mga salitang ito kay Job, sinabi ng Panginoon kay (E)Eliphaz na Temanita, Ang aking poot ay nagaalab laban sa iyo, at laban sa iyong dalawang kaibigan: sapagka't hindi kayo nangagsalita tungkol sa akin ng bagay na matuwid, na gaya ng ginawa ng aking lingkod na si Job.
8 Kaya't magsikuha kayo sa inyo ngayon ng (F)pitong guyang baka, at pitong lalaking tupa, at magsiparoon kayo sa aking lingkod na kay Job, at ihandog ninyo sa ganang inyo na pinakahandog na susunugin: at (G)idadalangin kayo ng aking lingkod na si Job: sapagka't siya'y aking tatanggapin, baka kayo'y aking gawan ng ayon sa inyong kamangmangan; sapagka't hindi kayo nangagsasalita tungkol sa akin ng bagay na matuwid, na gaya ng aking lingkod na si Job.
9 Sa gayo'y nagsiyaon si Eliphaz na Temanita, at si Bildad na Suhita, at si Sophar na Naamatita, at ginawa ang ayon sa iniutos sa kanila ng Panginoon: at nilingap ng Panginoon si Job.
10 (H)At inalis ng Panginoon ang pagkabihag ni Job, nang kaniyang idalangin ang kaniyang mga kaibigan; at binigyan ng Panginoon si Job (I)na makalawa ang higit ng dami kay sa tinatangkilik niya ng dati.
11 Nang magkagayo'y nagsiparoon sa kaniya ang lahat (J)niyang mga kapatid na lalake at babae, at lahat na naging kakilala niya ng una, at nagsikain ng tinapay na kasalo niya sa kaniyang bahay; at nakipagdamdam sa kaniya, at inaliw siya tungkol sa lahat na kasamaan na pinasapit sa kaniya ng Panginoon: bawa't tao nama'y nagbigay sa kaniya ng isang putol na salapi, at bawa't isa'y ng isang singsing na ginto.
12 Sa gayo'y pinagpala ng Panginoon, (K)ang huling wakas ni Job na higit kay sa kaniyang pasimula: at siya'y (L)nagkaroon ng labing apat na libong tupa, at anim na libong kamelyo, at isang libong tuwang na baka, at isang libong asnong babae.
13 (M)Siya nama'y nagkaroon din ng pitong anak na lalake at tatlong anak na babae.
14 At tinawag niya ang pangalan ng una na Jemima; at ang pangalan ng ikalawa, Cesiah, at ang pangalan ng ikatlo, Keren-hapuch.
15 At sa buong lupain ay walang mga babaing masumpungan na totoong maganda na gaya ng mga anak na babae ni Job: (N)at binigyan sila ng kanilang ama ng mana sa kasamahan ng kanilang mga kapatid.
16 At pagkatapos nito'y nabuhay si Job na isang daan at apat na pung taon, at nakita niya ang kaniyang mga anak, at ang mga anak ng kaniyang mga anak, hanggang sa apat na saling lahi.
17 Gayon namatay si Job, na matanda at puspos ng mga kaarawan.
