约伯认罪自责
42 约伯回答耶和华说： 2 “我知道，你万事都能做，你的旨意不能拦阻。 3 谁用无知的言语使你的旨意隐藏呢？我所说的，是我不明白的；这些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。 4 求你听我，我要说话；我问你，求你指示我。 5 我从前风闻有你，现在亲眼看见你。 6 因此我厌恶自己[a]，在尘土和炉灰中懊悔。”
耶和华责其三友
7 耶和华对约伯说话以后，就对提幔人以利法说：“我的怒气向你和你两个朋友发作，因为你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。 8 现在你们要取七只公牛、七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就为你们祈祷。我因悦纳他，就不按你们的愚妄办你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。” 9 于是提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达、拿玛人琐法照着耶和华所吩咐的去行，耶和华就悦纳约伯。

10 约伯为他的朋友祈祷，耶和华就使约伯从苦境[b]转回，并且耶和华赐给他的，比他从前所有的加倍。 11 约伯的弟兄姐妹和以先所认识的人都来见他，在他家里一同吃饭，又论到耶和华所降于他的一切灾祸，都为他悲伤安慰他，每人也送他一块银子和一个金环。 12 这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯比先前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。 13 他也有七个儿子，三个女儿。 14 他给长女起名叫耶米玛，次女叫基洗亚，三女叫基连哈朴。 15 在那全地的妇女中，找不着像约伯的女儿那样美貌。她们的父亲使她们在弟兄中得产业。

4 你說，『你且聽著，我要發言。
我來提問，你來回答。』

結語

42 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
7 And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the Lord commanded them: the Lord also accepted Job.
10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.
15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
