3 吩咐百姓说：“当你们看见利未家的祭司抬着耶和华—你们 神的约柜的时候，你们就要起行离开所住的地方，跟着约柜走， 4 使你们知道所当走的路，因为这条路是你们从来没有走过的。只是你们要与约柜相隔约二千肘，不可太靠近约柜。” 5 约书亚吩咐百姓说：“你们要使自己分别为圣，因为明天耶和华必在你们中间行奇事。”

3 “你们看见做祭司的利未人抬着你们上帝耶和华的约柜出发时，就要起身跟在后面。 4 这样，你们就会知道路，因为你们从来没有走过这条路。但你们要跟约柜保持九百米的距离，不要走近约柜。” 5 约书亚又对民众说：“你们要洁净自己，因为明天耶和华要在你们当中行奇事。”

3 giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant(A) of the Lord your God, and the Levitical(B) priests(C) carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits[a](D) between you and the ark; do not go near it.”
5 Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves,(E) for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things(F) among you.”

4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.
