12 Dette var de konger i landet som Israels barn slo, og hvis land de tok i eie på østsiden av Jordan, fra Arnon-åen til Hermon-fjellet, og hele ødemarken i øst:
2 Sihon, amoritter-kongen, som bodde i Hesbon og rådet over landet fra Aroer ved bredden av Arnon-åen, fra midten av åen, og over halvdelen av Gilead til Jabbok-åen, som er grensen mot Ammons barn,
3 og over ødemarken inntil østsiden av Kinneret-sjøen og til østsiden av ødemarkens hav eller Salthavet, bortimot Bet-Hajesimot og i syd til foten av Pisga-liene.
4 Likedan inntok de det land som tilhørte Og, kongen i Basan, en av dem som var tilbake av kjempefolket; han bodde i Asterot og Edre'i
5 og rådet over Hermon-fjellet og over Salka og over hele Basan inntil gesurittenes og ma'akatittenes land, og over halvdelen av Gilead til det land som tilhørte Sihon, kongen i Hesbon.

14 kongen i Horma én, kongen i Arad én,
15 kongen i Libna én, kongen i Adullam én,
16 kongen i Makkeda én, kongen i Betel én,
17 kongen i Tappuah én, kongen i Hefer én,
18 kongen i Afek én, kongen i Lassaron én,
19 kongen i Madon én, kongen i Hasor én,
20 kongen i Simron-Meron én, kongen i Aksaf én,
21 kongen i Ta'anak én, kongen i Megiddo én,
22 kongen i Kedes én, kongen i Jokneam ved Karmel én,
23 kongen i Dor på Dor-høidene én, kongen over Gojim ved Gilgal én,
24 kongen i Tirsa én, i alt en og tretti konger.

List of Defeated Kings
12 These are the kings of the land whom the Israelites had defeated and whose territory they took(A) over east of the Jordan,(B) from the Arnon(C) Gorge to Mount Hermon,(D) including all the eastern side of the Arabah:(E)
2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.(F)
He ruled from Aroer(G) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge—from the middle of the gorge—to the Jabbok River,(H) which is the border of the Ammonites.(I) This included half of Gilead.(J) 3 He also ruled over the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Galilee[a](K) to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea(L)), to Beth Jeshimoth,(M) and then southward below the slopes of Pisgah.(N)
4 And the territory of Og king of Bashan,(O) one of the last of the Rephaites,(P) who reigned in Ashtaroth(Q) and Edrei.
5 He ruled over Mount Hermon, Salekah,(R) all of Bashan(S) to the border of the people of Geshur(T) and Maakah,(U) and half of Gilead(V) to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites conquered them.(W) And Moses the servant of the Lord gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh to be their possession.(X)
7 Here is a list of the kings of the land that Joshua and the Israelites conquered on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon(Y) to Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir. Joshua gave their lands as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel according to their tribal divisions. 8 The lands included the hill country, the western foothills, the Arabah, the mountain slopes, the wilderness and the Negev.(Z) These were the lands of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. The Kings Conquered by Moses(A)
12 These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, (B)from the River Arnon (C)to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain: 2 One king was (D)Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites, 3 and (E)the eastern Jordan plain from the [a]Sea of Chinneroth as far as the [b]Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), (F)the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and [c]southward below (G)the[d] slopes of Pisgah. 4 The other king was (H)Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of (I)the remnant of the giants, (J)who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, 5 and reigned over (K)Mount Hermon, (L)over Salcah, over all Bashan, (M)as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 (N)These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and (O)Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.
