8 耶和华将他们交在以色列人手里，以色列人就击杀他们，追赶他们到西顿大城，到米斯利弗‧玛音，直到东边米斯巴的山谷。以色列人击杀他们，没有留下一个幸存者。 9 约书亚照耶和华所吩咐他的去做，砍断他们马的蹄筋，用火焚烧他们的战车。
10 那时，约书亚转回，夺了夏琐，用刀杀了夏琐王。先前夏琐在这些王国中是为首的。

New International Version
8 and the Lord gave them into the hand of Israel. They defeated them and pursued them all the way to Greater Sidon,(A) to Misrephoth Maim,(B) and to the Valley of Mizpah on the east, until no survivors were left. 9 Joshua did to them as the Lord had directed: He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots.
10 At that time Joshua turned back and captured Hazor and put its king to the sword.(C) (Hazor had been the head of all these kingdoms.)
