⁴¹這時候，一些猶太人因為耶穌說『我是從天上降下來的糧』，就私下議論他， ⁴²並說：「這不就是約瑟的兒子耶穌嗎？我們不都認識他的父母嗎？現在他怎麼說『我是從天上降下來的』呢？」

⁴³耶穌就對他們說：「你們不要彼此議論了。

⁴³耶穌回答他們說：「你們不用議論紛紛。

⁴¹At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” ⁴²They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph,^(A) whose father and mother we know?^(B) How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”^(C)

⁴³“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered.
