4 Once more Pilate went out and said to them, “Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no guilt in him.”(A) 5 So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple cloak. And he said to them, “Behold, the man!”(B) 6 When the chief priests and the guards saw him they cried out, “Crucify him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him. I find no guilt in him.”(C)

4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out(A) to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.”(B) 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe,(C) Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”
6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”
But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him.(D) As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”(E)
