耶穌為自己禱告
17 耶穌說完了這些話，就舉目望天，說：
「父啊，
時候到了！
願你榮耀你的兒子，
好讓兒子也榮耀你，
2 正如你賜給他權柄管轄所有的人[a]，
好讓他把永恆的生命給與一切你所賜給他的人。
3 認識你——獨一的真神，
並認識你所差派的耶穌基督，
這就是永恆的生命。
4 我完成了你交給我該做的事，
因而在地上榮耀了你。
5 父啊，
現在願你用那榮耀，與你自己一起榮耀我，
那榮耀是世界存在以前我與你一起就有的。

6 「你從世上所賜給我的人，
我已經把你的名向他們顯明了。
他們是你的，
你把他們賜給了我，
他們也遵守了你的話語。
7 現在他們已經知道，
你所賜給我的一切都是從你而來的，
8 因為你所賜給我的話語，
我已經給了他們。
他們領受了，
也確實知道我是從你而來的，
並且相信是你差派了我。
9 我為他們祈求。
我不是為世人，
而是為你所賜給我的人祈求，
因為他們是你的。
10 一切屬於我的都是你的，
屬於你的也是我的，
並且我在他們裡面得了榮耀。
11 今後我不在這世界上了，
而他們在這世界上，
我卻要到你那裡去。
聖父啊，
願你奉你的名，
就是奉你賜給我的名保守他們，
使他們合而為一，
就像我們那樣。
12 我[b]與他們在一起的時候，
我奉你的名，
就是奉你賜給我的名
保守了他們，也護衛了他們。
他們當中除了那滅亡[c]之子以外，
沒有一個人失落。
這是為要應驗經上的話。
13 但如今我就要到你那裡去了。
我在世上說這些話，
是要讓他們裡面充滿我的喜樂。
14 我把你的話語給了他們，
而世界恨他們，
因為他們不屬於這世界，
就像我不屬於這世界那樣。
15 我不是求你帶他們離開這世界，
而是求你保守他們脫離那惡者。
16 他們不屬於這世界，

17 願你在真理中使他們分別為聖，
你的話語就是真理。
18 正如你差派我到世界上來，
我也差派他們到世界上去。
19 我為了他們，自己分別為聖，
好使他們也能在真理中被分別為聖。

20 「我不僅為他們祈求，
還為那些因他們的話而信我的人祈求，
21 願他們都合而為一。
父啊，
正如你在我裡面[d]，我也在你裡面，
願他們也在我們裡面，
好讓世界相信是你差派了我。
22 你賜給我的榮耀，
我已經給了他們，
使他們合而為一，
就像我們是一體的。
23 我在他們裡面，你在我裡面，
願他們能完全合一，
好讓世界知道是你差派了我，
也知道你愛他們，
就像愛我那樣。
24 父啊，
我在哪裡，願你所賜給我的人也能與我在哪裡，
好讓他們能看見你所賜給我的榮耀，
因為你在創世以前就愛我了。
25 公義的父啊，
雖然世界不認識你，我卻認識你，
這些人也知道是你差派了我。
26 我將你的名向他們顯明了，

17 Estas cosas habló Jesús, y alzando los ojos al cielo(A), dijo: Padre, la hora ha llegado; glorifica a tu Hijo, para que el Hijo te glorifique a ti(B), 2 por cuanto le diste autoridad sobre todo ser humano[a](C) para que dé vida eterna(D) a todos los que tú le has dado[b](E). 3 Y esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero(F), y a Jesucristo, a quien has enviado(G). 4 Yo te glorifiqué(H) en la tierra, habiendo terminado la obra que me diste que hiciera(I). 5 Y ahora, glorifícame tú, Padre(J), junto a ti, con la gloria que tenía contigo antes que el mundo existiera(K). 6 He manifestado tu nombre(L) a los hombres que del mundo me diste(M); eran tuyos(N) y me los diste, y han guardado tu palabra(O). 7 Ahora han conocido que todo lo que me has dado viene de ti; 8 porque yo les he dado las palabras(P) que me diste(Q); y las recibieron, y entendieron que en verdad salí de ti(R), y creyeron que tú me enviaste(S). 9 Yo ruego por ellos(T); no ruego por el mundo(U), sino por los que me has dado(V); porque son tuyos(W); 10 y todo lo mío es tuyo, y lo tuyo, mío(X); y he sido glorificado en ellos. 11 Ya no estoy en el mundo, pero ellos sí están en el mundo, y yo voy a ti(Y). 17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Jesus Prays for Himself
17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, (A)the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 (B)as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He [a]should give eternal life to as many (C)as You have given Him. 3 And (D)this is eternal life, that they may know You, (E)the only true God, and Jesus Christ (F)whom You have sent. 4 (G)I have glorified You on the earth. (H)I have finished the work (I)which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together [b]with Yourself, with the glory (J)which I had with You before the world was.

6 (K)“I have [c]manifested Your name to the men (L)whom You have given Me out of the world. (M)They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words (N)which You have given Me; and they have received them, (O)and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that (P)You sent Me.
9 “I pray for them. (Q)I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and (R)Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 (S)Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Jesus Prays for All Believers
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who [j]will believe in Me through their word; 21 (AG)that they all may be one, as (AH)You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the (AI)glory which You gave Me I have given them, (AJ)that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; (AK)that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24 (AL)“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; (AM)for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father!
