真葡萄樹

15 耶穌說:「我是真葡萄樹,我父是栽培的人。 屬於我的枝子如果不結果子,祂就把它剪掉;如果結果子,祂便修剪它,讓它結更多的果子。 我對你們所講的道已經使你們潔淨了。 你們要常在我裡面,我就常在你們裡面。枝子若離開葡萄樹,就不能結果子。同樣,你們若不常在我裡面,也不能結果子。

「我是葡萄樹,你們是枝子。常在我裡面的,我也常在他裡面,他就會多結果子,因為你們離開了我什麼都不能做。 不常在我裡面的人就像丟在外面枯乾的枝子,最後只有被人拾起來丟在火裡燒掉。 如果你們常在我裡面,我的話也常在你們裡面,無論你們求什麼,都會得到應允。 你們多結果子,證明自己是我的門徒,就會給我父帶來榮耀。 父怎樣愛我,我也怎樣愛你們。你們要常在我的愛中。 10 你們若遵守我的命令,就必常在我的愛中,正如我遵守了父的命令,常在父的愛中一樣。

11 「我把這些事告訴你們,是要叫你們心裡有我的喜樂,讓你們的喜樂滿溢。 12 你們要彼此相愛,像我愛你們一樣,這就是我的命令。 13 為朋友捨命可以說是人間最偉大的愛了。 14 你們如果照我的吩咐去做,就是我的朋友。 15 我不再稱你們為奴僕,因為奴僕不知道主人的事。我稱你們為朋友,因為我把從父那裡聽見的一切都告訴了你們。 16 不是你們揀選了我,而是我揀選了你們,並且派你們出去結永存的果子。這樣,你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼,祂都會賜給你們。 17 我把這些事吩咐你們,是要叫你們彼此相愛。

被世人憎惡

18 「如果世人恨你們,要知道,他們恨你們以前已經恨我了。 19 如果你們屬於這個世界,世人一定會愛你們。可是你們不屬於這世界,我已經把你們揀選出來,因此世人恨你們。 20 你們要記住我說的話,『奴僕不能大過主人。』他們若迫害我,也必迫害你們;他們若遵行我的話,也必遵行你們的話。 21 世人將因為我的名而這樣對待你們,因為他們不認識差我來的那位。 22 我如果沒有來教導他們,他們就沒有罪了,但現在他們的罪無可推諉。 23 恨我的,也恨我的父。 24 我如果沒有在他們當中行過空前的神蹟,他們就沒有罪了。然而,他們親眼看見了,竟然還恨我和我的父。 25 這是要應驗他們律法書上的話,『他們無故地恨我。』

26 「我要從父那裡為你們差護慰者來,祂就是從父而來的真理之靈。祂來了要為我做見證。 27 你們也要為我做見證,因為你們從開始就與我在一起。

15 Аз съм истинската лоза, и Отец ми е земеделецът.

Всяка пръчка в Мене, която не дава плод, Той я отрязва; и всяка що дава плод, очистя я, за да дава повече плод.

Вие сте вече чисти чрез учението, което ви говорих.

Пребъдвайте в Мене, и Аз във вас. Както пръчката не може да даде плод от самосебе си, ако не остане на лозата, така и вие не можете, ако не пребъдете в Мене.

Аз съм лозата, вие сте пръчките; който пребъдва в Мене, и Аз в него, той дава много плод; защото, отделени от Мене, не можете да сторите нищо.

Ако някой не пребъде в Мене, той бива изхвърлен навън като пръчка, и изсъхва; и събират ги та ги хвърлят в огъня, и те изгарят.

Ако пребъдете в Мене и думите Ми пребъдат във вас, искайте каквото и да желаете, и ще ви бъде.

В това се прославя Отец Ми, да принасяте много плод; и <така> ще бъдете Мои ученици.

Както Отец възлюби Мене, така и Аз възлюбих вас; пребъдвайте в Моята любов.

10 Ако пазите Моите заповеди, ще пребъдвате в любовта Ми, както и Аз опазих заповедите на Отца Си и пребъдвам в Неговата любов.

11 Това ви говорих, за да бъде Моята радост във вас, и вашата радост да стане пълна.

12 Това е Моята заповед, да се любите един друг, както Аз ви възлюбих.

13 Никой няма по-голяма любов от това щото да даде живота си за приятелите си.

14 Вие сте Ми приятели, ако вършите онова, което ви заповядвам.

16 Вие не избрахте Мене, но Аз избрах вас, и ви определих да излезете <в света> и да принасяте плод и плодът ви да бъде траен; та каквото и да поискате от Отца в Мое име, да ви даде.

17 Това ви заповядвам да се любите един друг.

18 Ако светът ви мрази, знайте, че Мене преди вас е намразил.

19 Ако бяхте от света, светът щеше да люби своето; а понеже не сте от света, но Аз ви избрах от света, затова светът ви мрази.

20 Помнете думата, която ви казах, слугата не е по-горен от господаря си. Ако Мене гониха, и вас ще гонят; ако са опазили Моето учение, и вашето ще пазят.

21 Но всичко това ще ви сторят поради Моето име, защото не познават Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

22 Ако не бях дошъл и не бях им говорил, грях не биха имали; сега, обаче, нямат извинение за греха си.

23 Който мрази Мене, мрази и Отца Ми.

24 Ако не бях сторил между тях делата, които никой друг не е сторил, грях не биха имали; но сега видяха и намразиха и Мене и Отца Ми.

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Jesús, la vid verdadera

15 »Yo soy la vid verdadera, y mi Padre es el labrador. Él corta de mí toda rama que no produce fruto y poda las ramas que sí dan fruto, para que den aún más. Ustedes ya han sido podados y purificados por el mensaje que les di. Permanezcan en mí, y yo permaneceré en ustedes. Pues una rama no puede producir fruto si la cortan de la vid, y ustedes tampoco pueden ser fructíferos a menos que permanezcan en mí.

»Ciertamente, yo soy la vid; ustedes son las ramas. Los que permanecen en mí y yo en ellos producirán mucho fruto porque, separados de mí, no pueden hacer nada. El que no permanece en mí es desechado como rama inútil y se seca. Todas esas ramas se juntan en un montón para quemarlas en el fuego. Si ustedes permanecen en mí y mis palabras permanecen en ustedes, pueden pedir lo que quieran, ¡y les será concedido! Cuando producen mucho fruto, demuestran que son mis verdaderos discípulos. Eso le da mucha gloria a mi Padre.

»Yo los he amado a ustedes tanto como el Padre me ha amado a mí. Permanezcan en mi amor. 10 Cuando obedecen mis mandamientos, permanecen en mi amor, así como yo obedezco los mandamientos de mi Padre y permanezco en su amor. 11 Les he dicho estas cosas para que se llenen de mi gozo; así es, desbordarán de gozo. 12 Este es mi mandamiento: ámense unos a otros de la misma manera en que yo los he amado. 13 No hay un amor más grande que el dar la vida por los amigos. 14 Ustedes son mis amigos si hacen lo que yo les mando. 15 Ya no los llamo esclavos, porque el amo no confía sus asuntos a los esclavos. Ustedes ahora son mis amigos, porque les he contado todo lo que el Padre me dijo. 16 Ustedes no me eligieron a mí, yo los elegí a ustedes. Les encargué que vayan y produzcan frutos duraderos, así el Padre les dará todo lo que pidan en mi nombre. 17 Este es mi mandato: ámense unos a otros.

Odio del mundo

18 »Si el mundo los odia, recuerden que a mí me odió primero. 19 Si pertenecieran al mundo, el mundo los amaría como a uno de los suyos, pero ustedes ya no forman parte del mundo. Yo los elegí para que salieran del mundo, por eso el mundo los odia. 20 ¿Recuerdan lo que les dije? “El esclavo no es superior a su amo”. Ya que me persiguieron a mí, también a ustedes los perseguirán. Y, si me hubieran escuchado a mí, también los escucharían a ustedes. 21 Les harán todo eso a causa de mí, porque han rechazado a aquel que me envió. 22 Ellos no serían culpables si yo no hubiera venido a hablarles, pero ahora no tienen ninguna excusa por su pecado. 23 Cualquiera que me odia a mí también odia a mi Padre. 24 Si yo no hubiera hecho entre ellos esas señales tan milagrosas que nadie más podría hacer, no serían culpables; pero la verdad es que vieron todo lo que hice, y aun así nos siguen odiando a mí y a mi Padre. 25 Con eso se cumple lo que está registrado en sus Escrituras:[a] “Me odiaron sin motivo”.

26 »A ustedes yo les enviaré al Abogado Defensor,[b] el Espíritu de verdad. Él vendrá del Padre y dará testimonio acerca de mí, 27 y también ustedes deben dar testimonio de mí porque han estado conmigo desde el principio de mi ministerio.

The Vine and the Branches

15 “I am(A) the true vine,(B) and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,(C) while every branch that does bear fruit(D) he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.(E) Remain in me, as I also remain in you.(F) No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;(G) apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.(H) If you remain in me(I) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(J) This is to my Father’s glory,(K) that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.(L)

“As the Father has loved me,(M) so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands,(N) you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.(O) 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.(P) 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.(Q) 14 You are my friends(R) if you do what I command.(S) 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.(T) 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you(U) so that you might go and bear fruit(V)—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.(W) 17 This is my command: Love each other.(X)

The World Hates the Disciples

18 “If the world hates you,(Y) keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you(Z) out of the world. That is why the world hates you.(AA) 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b](AB) If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.(AC) If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name,(AD) for they do not know the one who sent me.(AE) 22 If I had not come and spoken to them,(AF) they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.(AG) 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did,(AH) they would not be guilty of sin.(AI) As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:(AJ) ‘They hated me without reason.’[c](AK)

The Work of the Holy Spirit

26 “When the Advocate(AL) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father(AM)—the Spirit of truth(AN) who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.(AO) 27 And you also must testify,(AP) for you have been with me from the beginning.(AQ)
