⁴你們要常在我裡面，我就常在你們裡面。枝子若離開葡萄樹，就不能結果子。同樣，你們若不常在我裡面，也不能結果子。

⁵「我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，他就會多結果子，因為你們離開了我什麼都不能做。 ⁶不常在我裡面的人就像丟在外面枯乾的枝子，最後只有被人拾起來丟在火裡燒掉。

⁴要继续在我之中，我就会继续在你们之中。就像当枝条离开葡萄藤，就结不出果实一样，除非你们在我之中，否则，就不能结果。”

⁵“我是葡萄藤，你们是枝条 ^[a]，人若在我之中，我也在他之中，这样，这个人才会多结果实；离开我，你们将一事无成。 ⁶不在我之中的人，就像被扔掉的枝条一样枯死，然后，被人捡起投进火里烧掉。”

⁴Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

⁵I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

⁶If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
