⁴⁶拿但業對他說：「拿撒勒還能出甚麼好的嗎？」腓力說：「你來看。」 ⁴⁷耶穌看見拿但業向他走來，就論到他說：「看哪，這真是個以色列人！他心裏是沒有詭詐的。」 ⁴⁸拿但業對耶穌說：「你從哪裏認識我的？」耶穌回答他說：「腓力還沒有呼喚你，你在無花果樹底下，我就看見你了。」

New International Version

⁴⁶“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?”^(A) Nathanael asked.

“Come and see,” said Philip.

⁴⁷When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite^(B) in whom there is no deceit.”^(C)

⁴⁸“How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.

Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

⁴⁶And Nathanael said to him, ^(A)“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

⁴⁷Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, ^(B)an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

⁴⁸Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
