約瑟子孫分到的土地
16 約瑟的子孫抽籤所得的地方是從耶利哥附近的約旦河，就是耶利哥水泉的東面開始，穿過曠野，直到伯特利山區； 2 又從伯特利，即路斯，沿著亞基人的邊境，直到亞他綠， 3 然後西下至押利提人的疆土，遠至伯·和崙地區，經基色直到地中海。 4 約瑟的兒子瑪拿西和以法蓮得了自己的產業。
5 以下是以法蓮的子孫按宗族分到的土地：東面從亞他綠·亞達到上伯·和崙、 6 地中海，又向北至密米他，然後向東繞到他納·示羅，到雅挪哈東部， 7 再到亞他綠、拿拉，經耶利哥直到約旦河； 8 又從他普亞往西到加拿河，直到地中海。這就是以法蓮的子孫按宗族所分的產業。 9 此外，他們又從瑪拿西人的產業中，分到部分城邑以及附近的鄉村。 10 他們沒有趕走住在基色的迦南人，迦南人至今還住在以法蓮人當中，為他們服勞役。

16 La parte assegnata in sorte ai figli di Giuseppe si estendeva dal Giordano presso Gerico, verso le acque di Gerico a est, fino al deserto che sale da Gerico a Bethel per la regione montuosa.
2 Il confine continuava poi da Bethel a Luz e passava per la frontiera degli Arkei ad Ataroth,
3 scendeva a ovest verso il confine dei Jafletei fino al confine di Beth-Horon inferiore e fino a Ghezer, per finire quindi sul mare.
4 Così i figli di Giuseppe, Manasse ed Efraim, ebbero ciascuno la loro eredità.
5 Questi furono i confini dei figli di Efraim, secondo le loro famiglie. Il confine della loro eredità, a est, era Atroth, fino a Beth-Horon superiore;
6 il confine si estendeva fino al mare a nord di Mikmethath, ripiegava quindi verso est fino a Taanath-Sciloh e le passava davanti a est di Janoah.
7 Da Janoah scendeva quindi ad Ataroth e a Naarah e toccava Gerico, per terminare al Giordano.
8 Da Tappuah il confine si estendeva verso ovest fino al torrente Kanah, per finire sul mare. Questa fu l'eredità della tribú dei figli di Efraim, secondo le loro famiglie,
9 assieme alle città messe da parte per i figli di Efraim in mezzo all'eredità dei figli di Manasse, tutte le città con i loro villaggi.
10 Ma essi non scacciarono i Cananei che abitavano a Ghezer; così i Cananei hanno dimorato in mezio a Efraim fino al giorno d'oggi, ma sono stati soggetti a servitú.

Ephraim and West Manasseh
16 The lot [a]fell to the children of Joseph from the Jordan, by Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the (A)wilderness that goes up from Jericho through the mountains to [b]Bethel, 2 then went out [c]from (B)Bethel to Luz, passed along to the border of the Archites at Ataroth, 3 and went down westward to the boundary of the Japhletites, (C)as far as the boundary of Lower Beth Horon to (D)Gezer; and [d]it ended at the sea.
4 (E)So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their [e]inheritance.
The Land of Ephraim
5 (F)The border of the children of Ephraim, according to their families, was thus: The border of their inheritance on the east side was (G)Ataroth Addar (H)as far as Upper Beth Horon.
6 And the border went out toward the sea on the north side of (I)Michmethath; then the border went around eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed by it on the east of Janohah. 7 Then it went down from Janohah to Ataroth and [f]Naarah, reached to Jericho, and came out at the Jordan.
8 The border went out from (J)Tappuah westward to the (K)Brook Kanah, and [g]it ended at the sea. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families. 9 (L)The separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10 (M)And they did not drive out the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day and have become forced laborers.

16 And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
2 And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
3 And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
4 So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5 And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
6 And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
7 And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
8 The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
9 And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10 And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
