Chinese New Version (Simplified)
17 贪爱享乐的,必成为穷乏人;
20 智慧人的居所中,积存珍贵的财物和油;
24 骄傲自大的人,他的名字是好讥笑人的;

New International Version
17 Whoever loves pleasure will become poor;
whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich.(A)
18 The wicked become a ransom(B) for the righteous,

than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.(C)
20 The wise store up choice food and olive oil,
but fools gulp theirs down.
22 One who is wise can go up against the city of the mighty(F)
and pull down the stronghold in which they trust.
