27 不要為明日自誇，因為一日要生何事，你尚且不能知道。

²要別人誇獎你，不可用口自誇；等外人稱讚你，不可用嘴自稱。

³石頭重，沙土沉，愚妄人的惱怒比這兩樣更重。

Proverbs 27:1-3

New International Version

27 Do not boast^(A) about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring.^(B)

²Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth;
an outsider, and not your own lips.^(C)

³Stone is heavy and sand^(D) a burden,
but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both.
