公平誠實使國堅定
29 人屢次受責備，仍然硬著頸項，
他必突然毀滅，無法挽救。
2 義人增多的時候，人民就喜樂；
惡人掌權的時候，人民就歎息。
3 喜愛智慧的，使父親喜樂；
親近妓女的，耗盡家財。
4 君王以公正使國堅立；
收受賄賂的，使國覆亡。
5 諂媚鄰舍的人，
是在他的腳下張設網羅。
6 惡人因為過犯，陷於網羅；
義人卻歡呼喜樂。
7 義人關注窮人的冤情；
惡人卻不分辨實情。
8 好譏笑人的煽動全城騷亂，
智慧人卻止息眾怒。
9 智慧人與愚妄人爭訟，
愚妄人只會咆哮或嘲笑，總不能安靜。
10 好流人血的恨惡完全人，
並尋索正直人的性命。
11 愚昧人把怒氣盡情發洩，
智慧人卻抑制怒氣。
12 如果掌權者聽信謊言，
他所有的臣僕必都是壞人。
13 世上有窮人，也有欺壓人的，
兩者的眼睛都蒙耶和華光照。
14 如果君王誠實地審判窮人；
他的國位必永遠堅立。
15 杖責和管教能使人有智慧，
放縱的孩子使母親蒙羞。
16 惡人增多的時候，過犯也必增多；
義人必看見他們傾覆。
17 管教你的兒子，他必使你得安息；
也必使你的心得喜樂。
18 沒有啟示，人民就沒有法紀；
遵守律法的，就為有福。
19 只用言語，不能使奴僕受管教；
他雖然明白，卻沒有反應。
20 你見過言語急躁的人嗎？
愚昧人比他更有指望。
21 如果人從小嬌縱僕人，
結果必帶來憂愁。
22 容易發怒的人，引起紛爭；
脾氣暴烈的人，多有過犯。
23 人的驕傲必使他卑微；
心裡謙卑的，必得尊榮。
24 與盜賊分贓的，是恨惡自己的性命；
他雖然聽見要他起誓作證的聲音，
卻不說話。
25 懼怕人的，必陷入網羅；
倚靠耶和華的，必得安全。
26 很多人求掌權者的情面，
但各人的判決是出於耶和華。
27 不義的人是義人所厭惡的；
行為正直的人是惡人所厭惡的。

29 屡教不改、顽固不化者，
必突然灭亡，无可挽救。
2 义人增多，万众欢腾；
恶人得势，万民叹息。
3 爱慕智慧的使父亲欢欣，
结交妓女的必耗尽钱财。
4 君王秉公行义，国家安定；
他若收受贿赂，国必倾倒。
5 奉承邻舍，等于设网罗绊他。
6 恶人被自己的罪缠住，
义人却常常欢喜歌唱。
7 义人关心穷人的冤屈，
恶人对此漠不关心。
8 狂徒煽动全城，
智者平息众怒。
9 智者跟愚人对簿公堂，
愚人会怒骂嬉笑不止。
10 嗜杀之徒憎恶纯全无过的人，
但正直的人保护他们[a]。
11 愚人尽发其怒，
智者忍气含怒。
12 君王若听谗言，
臣仆必成奸徒。
13 贫穷人和欺压者有共同点：
他们的眼睛都是耶和华所赐。
14 君王若秉公审判穷人，
他的王位必永远坚立。
15 管教之杖使孩子得智慧，
放纵的子女让母亲蒙羞。
16 恶人当道，罪恶泛滥；
义人必得见他们败亡。
17 好好管教儿子，
他会带给你平安和喜乐。
18 百姓无神谕便任意妄为，
但遵守律法的人必蒙福。
19 管教仆人不能单靠言语，
因为他虽明白却不服从。
20 言语急躁的人，
还不如愚人有希望。
21 主人若从小就娇惯仆人，
他终必成为主人的麻烦。
22 愤怒的人挑起纷争，
暴躁的人多有过犯。
23 骄傲的人必遭贬抑，
谦卑的人必得尊荣。
24 与盗贼为伍是憎恶自己，
他即使发誓也不敢作证。
25 惧怕人的必自陷网罗，
信靠耶和华的必安稳。
26 许多人讨君王的欢心，
但正义伸张靠耶和华。
27 为非作歹，义人厌恶；
行为正直，恶人憎恨。

29 El hombre que después de mucha reprensión se pone terco[a],
De repente será quebrantado sin remedio[b](A).
2 Cuando los justos aumentan[c], el pueblo se alegra(B);
Pero cuando el impío gobierna, el pueblo gime.
3 El que ama la sabiduría alegra a su padre(C),
Pero el que anda con rameras malgasta su fortuna(D).
4 El rey con la justicia[d] afianza la tierra(E),
Pero el hombre que acepta soborno la destruye.
5 El hombre que adula(F) a su prójimo
Tiende una red ante[e] sus pasos.
6 El hombre malo es atrapado(G) en la transgresión,
Pero el justo canta y se regocija(H).
7 El justo se preocupa por[f] la causa de los pobres(I),
Pero el impío no entiende tal preocupación[g].
8 Los provocadores agitan la ciudad(J),
Pero los sabios alejan la ira(K).
9 Cuando un sabio tiene controversia con un necio,
Este se enoja o se ríe, y no hay descanso.
10 Los hombres sanguinarios odian al intachable[h](L),
Pero los rectos se preocupan por[i] su alma.
11 El necio da rienda suelta a su ira[j](M),
Pero el sabio la reprime(N).
12 Si un gobernante presta atención a palabras mentirosas(O),
Todos sus servidores se vuelven impíos.
13 El pobre y el opresor tienen esto en común[k](P):
El Señor alumbra a los ojos(Q) de ambos.
14 El rey que juzga con verdad a los pobres(R)
Afianzará su trono para siempre(S).
15 La vara y la reprensión(T) dan sabiduría,
Pero el niño consentido[l] avergüenza a su madre(U).
16 Cuando aumentan[m] los impíos, aumenta la transgresión,
Pero los justos verán su caída(V).
17 Disciplina a tu hijo(W) y te dará descanso,
Y dará alegría[n] a tu alma(X).
18 Donde no hay visión[o](Y), el pueblo se desenfrena(Z),
Pero bienaventurado es el que guarda la ley(AA).
19 Un siervo no aprende solo con palabras;
Aunque entienda, no responderá[p].
20 ¿Ves a un hombre precipitado en sus palabras(AB)?
Más esperanza hay para el necio que para él(AC).
21 El que mima a su siervo desde la niñez,
Al final lo tendrá por hijo[q].
22 El hombre lleno de ira provoca rencillas(AD),
Y el hombre violento abunda en transgresiones.
23 El orgullo del hombre lo humillará(AE),
Pero el de espíritu humilde obtendrá honores(AF).
24 El que se asocia con un ladrón aborrece su propia vida[r];
Oye el juramento[s], pero no dice nada(AG).
25 El temor al hombre es[t] un lazo(AH),
Pero el que confía en el Señor estará seguro[u](AI).

29 Whoever remains stiff-necked(A) after many rebukes
will suddenly be destroyed(B)—without remedy.(C)
3 A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father,(G)
but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.(H)
4 By justice a king gives a country stability,(I)
but those who are greedy for[a] bribes tear it down.
5 Those who flatter their neighbors
are spreading nets for their feet.(J)
6 Evildoers are snared by their own sin,(K)
but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
7 The righteous care about justice for the poor,(L)
but the wicked have no such concern.
8 Mockers stir up a city,
but the wise turn away anger.(M)
9 If a wise person goes to court with a fool,
the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
10 The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity
and seek to kill the upright.(N)
13 The poor and the oppressor have this in common:
The Lord gives sight to the eyes of both.(S)
14 If a king judges the poor with fairness,
his throne will be established forever.(T)
15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom,
but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.(U)
16 When the wicked thrive, so does sin,
but the righteous will see their downfall.(V)
17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace;
they will bring you the delights you desire.(W)
18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.(X)
19 Servants cannot be corrected by mere words;
though they understand, they will not respond.
20 Do you see someone who speaks in haste?
There is more hope for a fool than for them.(Y)
21 A servant pampered from youth
will turn out to be insolent.
22 An angry person stirs up conflict,
and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.(Z)
24 The accomplices of thieves are their own enemies;
they are put under oath and dare not testify.(AC)
27 The righteous detest the dishonest;
the wicked detest the upright.(AI)
