⁶慈爱和忠信可让罪恶得赎，
    敬畏耶和华使人远离罪恶。
⁷人所行的若蒙耶和华喜悦，
    耶和华必使仇敌与他和好。
⁸财物虽少但行事公义，
    胜过家财万贯却不公义。

⁶Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for;
through the fear of the Lord^(A) evil is avoided.^(B)

⁷When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way,
he causes their enemies to make peace^(C) with them.^(D)

⁸Better a little with righteousness
than much gain^(E) with injustice.^(F)

⁶By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

⁷When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
