16 心中的策劃在於人，
應對之言來自耶和華。
²人看自己的行為都純全，
但是耶和華卻衡量人心。

Proverbs 16:1-2

New International Version

16 To humans belong the plans of the heart,
but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.^(A)

²All a person’s ways seem pure to them,^(B)
but motives are weighed^(C) by the Lord.^(D)

16 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.

²All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
