⁸精明人的智慧能分辨自己的道路；

愚昧人的愚妄却欺骗自己。

⁹愚妄人讥笑赎愆祭，

正直人中间却有恩宠。

¹⁰人的苦楚，只有自己心里知道；

心中的喜乐，外人也不能分享。

⁸The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways,^(A)

but goodwill is found among the upright.
