¹⁵聪颖的明慧使人蒙恩，

奸诈人的道路崎岖难行。

¹³Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it,^(A)

¹⁴The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life,^(D)
turning a person from the snares of death.^(E)

¹⁵Good judgment wins favor,
but the way of the unfaithful leads to their destruction.^[a]
