所羅門的箴言
10 所羅門的箴言：
智慧之子使父親喜樂；
愚昧之子使母親擔憂。
2 不義之財毫無益處；
惟有公義能救人脫離死亡。
3 耶和華不使義人捱餓；
惡人所欲的，耶和華必拒絕。
4 手懶的，必致窮乏；
手勤的，卻要富足。
5 夏天儲存的，是智慧之子；
收割時沉睡的，是蒙羞之子。
6 福祉臨到義人頭上；
惡人的口藏匿殘暴。
7 義人的稱號帶來祝福；
惡人的名字必然敗壞。
8 智慧的心，領受誡命；
愚妄的嘴唇，必致傾倒。
9 行正直路的，步步安穩；
走彎曲道的，必致敗露。
10 擠眉弄眼的，使人憂患；
愚妄的嘴唇，必致傾倒。
11 義人的口是生命的泉源；
惡人的口藏匿殘暴。
12 恨能挑啟爭端；
愛能遮掩一切過錯。
13 聰明人嘴裏有智慧；
無知的人背上受刑杖。
14 智慧人積存知識；
愚妄人的口速致敗壞。
15 有錢人的財物是他堅固的城；
貧寒人的貧乏使他敗壞。
16 義人的報酬帶來生命；
惡人的所得用來犯罪。
17 遵守訓誨的，行在生命道上；
離棄責備的，走迷了路。
18 隱藏怨恨的，有說謊的嘴唇；
口出毀謗的，是愚昧人。
19 多言多語難免有過；
節制嘴唇是有智慧。
20 義人的舌如上選的銀子；
惡人的心所值無幾。
21 義人的嘴唇牧養多人；
愚妄人因無知而死亡。
22 耶和華所賜的福使人富足，
並不加上憂慮。
23 愚昧人以行惡為樂；
聰明人以智慧為樂。
24 惡人所怕的，必臨到他；
義人的心願，必蒙應允。
25 暴風一過，惡人歸於無有；
義人卻有永久的根基。
26 懶惰人使那差他的人，
如醋倒牙，如煙薰目。
27 敬畏耶和華使人長壽；
惡人的年歲必減少。
28 義人的盼望帶來喜樂；
惡人的指望必致滅沒。
29 耶和華的道是正直人的保障；
卻成了作惡人的敗壞。
30 義人永不動搖；
惡人不得住在地上。
31 義人的口結出智慧；
乖謬的舌必被割斷。
32 義人的嘴唇懂得令人喜悅；
惡人的口只知乖謬。

10 以下是所羅門的箴言：
智慧兒使父親快樂，
愚昧兒叫母親擔憂。
2 不義之財毫無益處，
公義救人脫離死亡。
3 耶和華不讓義人挨餓，
祂使惡人的奢望成空。
4 遊手好閒招致貧窮，
勤奮努力帶來富足。
5 精明兒夏季時貯藏，
不肖子收成時酣睡。
6 祝福臨到義人的頭，
殘暴充滿惡人的口。
7 義人流芳於世，
惡人名聲朽爛。
8 心存智慧的接受誡命；
說話愚昧的自招滅亡。
9 行正道者活得安穩，
走歪路者終必敗露。
10 擠眉弄眼，帶來憂傷；
胡言亂語，導致滅亡。
11 義人的口是生命之泉，
惡人的口卻充滿殘暴。
12 恨能挑起各樣紛爭，
愛能遮掩一切過犯。
13 明哲人口中有智慧，
無知者背上受鞭打。
14 智者儲藏知識，
愚人口惹禍端。
15 錢財是富人的堅壘，
貧乏帶給窮人毀滅。
16 義人的報酬是生命，
惡人的果子是懲罰。
17 聽從教誨的，走生命之路；
拒絕責備的，必步入歧途。
18 暗藏仇恨的滿口虛謊，
散佈流言的愚不可及。
19 言多必失，智者慎言。
20 義人之舌似純銀，
惡人之心無價值。
21 義人的口滋養眾人，
愚人因無知而死亡。
22 耶和華的祝福使人富足，
祝福中不加任何憂愁[a]。
23 愚人以惡為樂，
哲士喜愛智慧。
24 惡人所怕的必臨到他，
義人的心願必得實現。
25 暴風掃過，
惡人消逝無蹤，
義人永不動搖。
26 雇用懶惰人，
如醋倒牙，如煙薰目。
27 敬畏耶和華的享長壽，
惡人的壽數必被縮短。
28 義人的憧憬帶來歡樂，
惡人的希望終必破滅。
29 耶和華的道保護正直人，
毀滅作惡之人。
30 義人永不動搖，
惡人無處容身。
31 義人的口發出智慧，
詭詐的舌必被割掉。
32 義人說話得體合宜，
惡人的口胡言亂語。

A wise son brings joy to his father,(C)
but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.
5 He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.(J)
8 The wise in heart accept commands,
but a chattering fool comes to ruin.(O)
9 Whoever walks in integrity(P) walks securely,(Q)
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.(R)
10 Whoever winks maliciously(S) causes grief,
and a chattering fool comes to ruin.
11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,(T)
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.(U)
12 Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs.(V)
13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning,(W)
but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.(X)
17 Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life,(AE)
but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
18 Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips(AF)
and spreads slander is a fool.
19 Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues.(AG)
20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver,
but the heart of the wicked is of little value.
21 The lips of the righteous nourish many,
but fools die for lack of sense.(AH)
23 A fool finds pleasure in wicked schemes,(AL)
but a person of understanding delights in wisdom.
28 The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.(AV)
29 The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,
but it is the ruin of those who do evil.(AW)
30 The righteous will never be uprooted,
but the wicked will not remain in the land.(AX)
