以巴路山上的律法
27 摩西率以色列眾長老吩咐民眾說：「你們要遵守我今天吩咐你們的一切誡命。 2 你們渡過約旦河、進入你們的上帝耶和華應許給你們的土地那天，要豎立幾塊大石，塗上石灰。 3 你們渡過約旦河、進入你們祖先的上帝耶和華應許要賜給你們的奶蜜之鄉後，要把這律法一字不漏地寫在大石上。 4 你們渡過約旦河後，要照我今日的吩咐在以巴路山上豎立這些石頭，塗上石灰。 5 要在那裡為你們的上帝耶和華築一座石壇，不要用鐵器鑿刻石頭。 6 要用未鑿過的石頭為你們的上帝耶和華築一座壇，在上面獻燔祭給祂； 7 又要獻上平安祭，在祂面前吃喝快樂。 8 你們要把這律法一字不漏、清清楚楚地寫在那幾塊大石上。」
9 摩西率利未祭司對全體以色列人說：「以色列人啊，要肅靜聆聽！你們今天已成為你們上帝耶和華的子民。 10 你們要聽從祂，遵守祂今天藉我吩咐你們的誡命和律例。」
違命必受咒詛
11 那天，摩西吩咐民眾說： 12 「你們渡過約旦河後，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟和便雅憫支派要站在基利心山上為民眾祝福； 13 呂便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但和拿弗他利支派要站在以巴路山上宣告咒詛。 14 利未人要對所有以色列人高聲說，
15 『凡雕刻或鑄造耶和華所憎惡的神像，並偷偷供奉的必受咒詛！』
全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』
16 『凡不尊敬父母的必受咒詛！』
全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』
17 『凡挪移鄰居界石的必受咒詛！』
全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』
18 『凡故意帶領盲人走錯路的必受咒詛！』
全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』
19 『不公正地對待寄居者和孤兒寡婦的必受咒詛！』

20 『凡與父親的妻妾亂倫，使父親蒙羞的必受咒詛！』

27 摩西率以色列众长老吩咐民众说：“你们要遵守我今天吩咐你们的一切诫命。 2 你们渡过约旦河、进入你们的上帝耶和华应许给你们的土地那天，要竖立几块大石，涂上石灰。 3 你们渡过约旦河、进入你们祖先的上帝耶和华应许要赐给你们的奶蜜之乡后，要把这律法一字不漏地写在大石上。 4 你们渡过约旦河后，要照我今日的吩咐在以巴路山上竖立这些石头，涂上石灰。 5 要在那里为你们的上帝耶和华筑一座石坛，不要用铁器凿刻石头。 6 要用未凿过的石头为你们的上帝耶和华筑一座坛，在上面献燔祭给祂； 7 又要献上平安祭，在祂面前吃喝快乐。 8 你们要把这律法一字不漏、清清楚楚地写在那几块大石上。”
9 摩西率利未祭司对全体以色列人说：“以色列人啊，要肃静聆听！你们今天已成为你们上帝耶和华的子民。 10 你们要听从祂，遵守祂今天借我吩咐你们的诫命和律例。”
违命必受咒诅
11 那天，摩西吩咐民众说： 12 “你们渡过约旦河后，西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟和便雅悯支派要站在基利心山上为民众祝福； 13 吕便、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但和拿弗他利支派要站在以巴路山上宣告咒诅。 14 利未人要对所有以色列人高声说，

The Inscribed Stones and Altar on Mount Ebal
27 Now Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep all the commandment which I command you this day. 2 And on the day you pass over the Jordan to the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall set up large stones, and plaster them with plaster; 3 and you shall write upon them all the words of this law, when you pass over to enter the land which the Lord your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you. 4 And when you have passed over the Jordan, you shall set up these stones, concerning which I command you this day, on Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster. 5 And there you shall build an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones; you shall lift up no iron tool upon them. 6 You shall build an altar to the Lord your God of unhewn[a] stones; and you shall offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God; 7 and you shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God. 8 And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”
9 And Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel, “Keep silence and hear, O Israel: this day you have become the people of the Lord your God. 10 You shall therefore obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping his commandments and his statutes, which I command you this day.”
Twelve Curses
11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying, 12 “When you have passed over the Jordan, these shall stand upon Mount Ger′izim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Is′sachar, Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 And these shall stand upon Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zeb′ulun, Dan, and Naph′tali. 14 And the Levites shall declare to all the men of Israel with a loud voice:
15 “‘Cursed be the man who makes a graven or molten image, an abomination to the Lord, a thing made by the hands of a craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’
16 “‘Cursed be he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17 “‘Cursed be he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18 “‘Cursed be he who misleads a blind man on the road.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19 “‘Cursed be he who perverts the justice due to the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20 “‘Cursed be he who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered her who is his father’s.’[b] And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21 “‘Cursed be he who lies with any kind of beast.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22 “‘Cursed be he who lies with his sister, whether the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23 “‘Cursed be he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24 “‘Cursed be he who slays his neighbor in secret.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
25 “‘Cursed be he who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
26 “‘Cursed be he who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
