摩西去世
34 摩西从摩押平原登上尼波山，上到耶利哥对面的毗斯迦山顶。耶和华把整片土地指给他看，从基列一直到但， 2 拿弗他利全境、以法莲和玛拿西地区，远至地中海的犹大全境， 3 南地和棕榈城耶利哥的谷地，远至琐珥。 4 耶和华对摩西说：“这便是我向亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各起誓要赐给他们子孙的土地。现在我让你亲眼看到了，但你不能进入。”
5 于是，耶和华的仆人摩西死在摩押，正如耶和华所言。 6 耶和华把他安葬在摩押境内伯·毗珥对面的山谷，至今无人知道摩西的坟墓在哪里。 7 摩西去世时一百二十岁，眼睛没有昏花，精力没有衰败。 8 以色列人在摩押平原为摩西致哀三十天，服丧的日子才结束。
9 嫩的儿子约书亚充满了智慧之灵，因为摩西曾把手按在他身上。以色列人都听从他，遵守耶和华对摩西的吩咐。

34 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

Moses’s Death
34 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah,(A) which faces Jericho, and the Lord showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean[a] Sea, 3 the Negev, and the plain in the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar. 4 The Lord then said to him, ‘This is the land I promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, “I will give it to your descendants.”(B) I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.’
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord(C) died there in the land of Moab, according to the Lord’s word. 6 He buried him[b] in the valley(D) in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows where his grave is.(E) 7 Moses was 120 years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him. 8 The Israelites wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days.(F) Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.(G)
9 Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom(H) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(I) So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.(J) 10 No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.(K) 11 He was unparalleled for all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do against the land of Egypt – to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land – 12 and for all the mighty acts of power and terrifying deeds that Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.(L)

And the Lord showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah (B)as far as the western sea, 3 (C)the Negeb, and (D)the Plain, that is, the Valley of Jericho (E)the city of palm trees, as far as (F)Zoar. 4 And the Lord said to him, (G)“This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ (H)I have let you see it with your eyes, but (I)you shall not go over there.” 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord, 6 and he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth-peor; but (J)no one knows the place of his burial to this day. 7 (K)Moses was 120 years old when he died.
