²¹耶和華你的　神選擇作立他名的地方，如果離開你太遠，你就可以照著我吩咐你的，把耶和華賜給你的牛羊取些宰殺了，可以在你的城裡隨意地吃。 ²²你吃那肉，好像人吃羚羊和鹿的肉一樣；不潔淨的人和潔淨的人都可以一起吃。 ²³只是你要心意堅定，不可吃血，因為血就是生命；你不可把生命和肉一起吃。

²¹If the place where the Lord your God chooses to put His name is too far from ^(A)you, then you may slaughter from your herd and from your flock which the Lord has given you, just as I have commanded you, and you may eat within your gates as much as your heart desires. ²²Just as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you may eat them; the unclean and the clean alike may eat them. ²³Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, ^(B)for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat.

²¹If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

²²Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

²³Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

²¹If the place where the Lord your God chooses to put his Name^(A) is too far away from you, you may slaughter animals from the herds and flocks the Lord has given you, as I have commanded you, and in your own towns you may eat as much of them as you want.^(B) ²²Eat them as you would gazelle or deer.^(C) Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat. ²³But be sure you do not eat the blood,^(D) because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.^(E)
