24 因為你們的上帝耶和華是烈火，是痛恨不貞的上帝。
25 「將來，即使你們在那裡安頓已久、子孫滿堂，也不可墮落、製造任何形狀的神像，不可做你們的上帝耶和華視為邪惡的事，惹祂發怒。 26 否則，今天我叫天地作證，你們必很快從約旦河對面將要佔領的土地上滅亡，你們必被徹底消滅，不得在那裡長久居住。

New King James Version
24 For (A)the Lord your God is a consuming fire, (B)a jealous God.
25 “When you beget children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and act corruptly and make a carved image in the form of anything, and (C)do evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger, 26 (D)I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you will soon utterly perish from the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess; you will not [a]prolong your days in it, but will be utterly destroyed.
