34 摩西从摩押平原上了尼波山，就是上了耶利哥对面的毘斯迦山顶。耶和华把全地指给他看，就是把基列直到但， 2 拿弗他利全地，以法莲和玛拿西之地，犹大全地，直到西海， 3 南地和那平原，就是棕树城耶利哥的盆地，直到琐珥，都指给他看。 4 耶和华对他说：“这就是我曾经向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我要把这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我让你亲眼看见了，可是你不能过到那边去。” 5 于是耶和华的仆人摩西，照着耶和华所说的，死在摩押地。 6 耶和华把他埋葬在摩押地，伯．毘珥对面的山谷里，只是直到今日还没有人知道埋葬他的地方。 7 摩西死的时候，已经一百二十岁；他的眼睛没有昏花，他的精力也没有衰退。 8 以色列人在摩押平原为摩西哀哭了三十日；然后为摩西守丧哀哭的日子就满了。
9 嫩的儿子约书亚，因为摩西曾经按手在他身上，就充满了智慧的灵；以色列人就听从他，照着耶和华吩咐摩西的去行了。 10 以后在以色列中，再没有兴起一位先知像摩西一样的；他是耶和华面对面所认识的。 11 耶和华差遣他在埃及地，向法老和他的一切臣仆，以及他的全地行了一切神迹和奇事。 12 摩西又在以色列众人眼前行了一切大能的事，和一切大而可畏的事。

Moses’s Death
34 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah,(A) which faces Jericho, and the Lord showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean[a] Sea, 3 the Negev, and the plain in the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar. 4 The Lord then said to him, ‘This is the land I promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, “I will give it to your descendants.”(B) I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.’
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord(C) died there in the land of Moab, according to the Lord’s word. 6 He buried him[b] in the valley(D) in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows where his grave is.(E) 7 Moses was 120 years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him. 8 The Israelites wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days.(F) Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.(G)
9 Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom(H) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(I) So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.(J) 10 No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.(K) 11 He was unparalleled for all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do against the land of Egypt – to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land – 12 and for all the mighty acts of power and terrifying deeds that Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.(L)

34 And Moshe went up from the plains of Moav unto Mt Nevo to the top of Pisgah, that is, over against Yericho. And Hashem showed him all Eretz Gil`ad, unto Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and Eretz Ephrayim, and Menasheh, and all Eretz Yehudah, unto the Western [Mediterranean] Sea,
3 And the Negev, and the plain of the valley of Yericho, the Ir Hatemarim (City of Date Palms), unto Tzoar.
4 And Hashem said unto him, This is HaAretz which I swore unto Avraham, unto Yitzchak, and unto Ya’akov, saying, I will give it unto thy zera; I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moshe Eved Hashem died there in Eretz Moav, as Hashem had said.
6 And He buried him in a valley in Eretz Moav, over against Beit Peor; but no man knoweth of his kever unto this yom. [See Yeshayah 53:9 on Moshiach’s kever.]
7 And Moshe was me’ah v’esrim shanah when he died; his eyesight was not weakened, nor his natural force reduced.
8 And the Bnei Yisroel wept for Moshe in the plains of Moav shloshim yom; then the yamim of weeping and mourning for Moshe were ended.
9 And Yehoshua ben Nun was full of the ruach chochmah; for Moshe had laid his hands upon him; and the Bnei Yisroel were heedful unto him, and did as Hashem commanded Moshe.
10 And there arose not a navi since in Yisroel like unto Moshe, whom Hashem knew panim el panim (face to face),
11 In all the otot and the mofetim, which Hashem sent him to do in Eretz Mitzrayim to Pharaoh, and to all his avadim, and to all his land,
12 And in all that yad hachazakah, and in all the morah hagadol (great terror) which Moshe did in the sight of kol Yisroel.
