²³耶和華囑咐嫩的兒子約書亞：「你要剛強勇敢，因為你要帶領以色列人進入我起誓應許他們的土地，我必與你同在。」

²⁴摩西把這律法都寫在書上以後， ²⁵就吩咐抬耶和華約櫃的利未人：

New International Version

²³The Lord gave this command^(A) to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous,^(B) for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”

²⁴After Moses finished writing^(C) in a book the words of this law^(D) from beginning to end, ²⁵he gave this command to the Levites who carried^(E) the ark of the covenant of the Lord:
