Chinese Contemporary Bible (Simplified)
1 以下是耶和华借玛拉基对以色列人的宣告。
耶和华爱以色列
2 耶和华说：“我曾爱你们。”你们却说：“你在何事上爱我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？但我却爱雅各， 3 厌恶以扫。我使以扫的山岭荒凉，把他的地业留给旷野的豺狼。” 4 也许以扫的后代以东人会说：“我们现在虽然被毁，但我们要重建毁坏之处。”万军之耶和华却这样说：“他们尽管建造，但我必拆毁。他们的土地要被称为‘罪恶之地’，他们要被称为‘耶和华永远恼怒之民。’” 5 以色列人啊，你们必亲眼看见这事，也必说：“愿耶和华在以色列境外受尊崇！”
斥责祭司
6 万军之耶和华对祭司说：“儿子应当尊敬父亲，仆人应当敬畏主人。我是你们的父亲，但你们对我的尊敬在哪里呢？我是你们的主人，但你们对我的敬畏在哪里呢？你们藐视我的名，却狡辩说，‘我们在何事上藐视过你的名呢？’ 7 你们把污秽的食物献在我的祭坛上，还说，‘我们在何事上玷污了你呢？’你们说耶和华的桌子是可藐视的。 8 你们拿瞎眼、瘸腿和有病的牲畜来献祭，难道这不是罪过吗？你试试把这样的东西送给你的省长，看他会不会悦纳你、恩待你。这是万军之耶和华说的。”
9 现在，你们祈求上帝向我们施恩吧！然而，你们献上这样的祭物，祂怎会垂听你们的祈求呢？ 10 万军之耶和华说：“我真希望你们当中有人把殿门关上，免得你们在我祭坛上枉然点火。因为我不喜悦你们，也不接纳你们的祭物。” 11 万军之耶和华说：“从日出之地到日落之处，列国必尊崇我的名。世上每个角落都有人向我焚香，献上洁净的供物。因为我的名必受列国尊崇。 12 可是，你们却亵渎我的名，竟然说我的桌子是污秽的，上面的祭物是可藐视的。 13 你们不屑地说，‘哼！这些事真麻烦！’这是万军之耶和华说的。你们把抢来的、瘸腿的、有病的献给我，我岂能接纳呢？这是耶和华说的。 14 许愿时说要献上羊群中的公羊，后来却拿伤残的来献给主，这种人该受咒诅！因为我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

La elección de Israel
2 El Señor dice: “Yo los amo”. Pero ustedes responden: “¿Cómo muestras que nos amas?”. ¿No era Esaú hermano de Jacob? —oráculo del Señor—. Sin embargo, amé a Jacob 3 y aborrecí a Esaú, cuyos montes convertí en desolación y cuya heredad abandoné a los chacales del desierto. 4 Puesto que Edom dice: “Hemos sido destrozados, pero reconstruiremos las ruinas”, así responde el Señor del universo: Ellos edificarán y yo derribaré; y se dirá de ellos que son un país malvado y un pueblo contra el cual el Señor se ha airado perpetuamente. 5 Cuando lo vean con sus propios ojos, dirán: “El Señor muestra su grandeza aún más allá de las fronteras de Israel”.
Reproches contra los sacerdotes
6 El Señor del universo les dice a ustedes, sacerdotes, que menosprecian su nombre: El hijo honra al padre y el siervo a su señor. Si, pues, yo soy padre, ¿dónde está mi honra? Y si soy Señor, ¿dónde está la reverencia que se me debe? Ustedes le responden: “¿En qué forma menospreciamos tu nombre?”. 7 Pues en que ofrecen sobre mi altar alimentos impuros. Pero ustedes vuelven a preguntar: “¿En qué te hemos mancillado?”. Lo hacen al considerar que la mesa del Señor puede ser menospreciada. 8 Cuando ofrecen animales ciegos para el sacrificio, ¿no piensan que está mal? Y cuando ofrecen animales lisiados o enfermos, ¿no piensan que está mal? Anden, ofrézcanselo a su gobernador, ¿creen que le agradarán y que los acogerá favorablemente? —dice el Señor del universo—. 9 Así pues, supliquen el favor de Dios para que se apiade de nosotros. Porque si esto es lo que ofrecen, ¿creen que los acogerá favorablemente? —dice el Señor del universo—. 10 ¡Ojalá alguien entre ustedes cerrara las puertas [del Templo] para que no encendieran mi altar inútilmente! Ustedes no me agradan —dice el Señor del universo—, ni me complace la ofrenda de sus manos. 11 Porque, desde el levante hasta el poniente, se reconoce la grandeza de mi nombre en todas las naciones, y en todo lugar se me ofrece incienso y una ofrenda pura. Ciertamente se reconoce la grandeza de mi nombre en todas las naciones —dice el Señor del universo—, 12 pero ustedes lo profanan cuando dicen: “La mesa del Señor está contaminada y su comida es despreciable”. 13 Exclaman: “¡Qué hastío!”, y lo desprecian —dice el Señor del universo—. Me traen animales robados, lisiados y enfermos, y los presentan como ofrenda: ¿puedo yo agradarme en ella?, dice el Señor. 14 Maldito el tramposo que, teniendo un macho sano en su rebaño y habiendo hecho un voto, sacrifica uno dañado al Señor. Yo soy el Gran Rey —dice el Señor del universo— y mi nombre es respetado entre las naciones.

God’s Love for Jacob
1 The (A)pronouncement of the word of the Lord to (B)Israel through [a]Malachi:
2 “I have (C)loved you,” says the Lord. But you say, “How have You loved us?” “Was Esau not Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I (D)have loved Jacob; 3 but I have hated Esau, and I have (E)made his mountains a desolation and given his inheritance to the jackals of the wilderness.” 4 Though Edom says, “We have been (F)beaten down, but we will [b](G)return and build up the ruins”; this is what the Lord of armies says: “They may (H)build, but I will tear down; and people will call them the [c]territory of wickedness, and the people [d]with whom the Lord is indignant (I)forever.” 5 And your eyes will see this, and you will say, “(J)The Lord [e]be exalted beyond the [f]border of Israel!”
Sin of the Priests
6 “‘A son (K)honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a (L)father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My [g]respect?’ says the Lord of armies to you, the (M)priests who despise My name! But you say, ‘How have we despised Your name?’ 7 You are presenting (N)defiled [h](O)food upon My altar. But you say, ‘How have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The (P)table of the Lord is to be despised.’ 8 And when you present a (Q)blind animal for sacrifice, is it not evil? Or when you present a lame or sick animal, is it not evil? So offer it to your (R)governor! Would he be pleased with you, or would he receive you kindly?” says the Lord of armies. 9 “But now, do indeed (S)plead for God’s favor, so that He will be gracious to us. [i]With such an offering on your part, will He (T)receive any of you kindly?” says the Lord of armies. 10 “If only there were one among you who would (U)shut the [j]gates, so that you would not kindle fire on My altar for nothing! I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord of armies, “(V)nor will I accept an offering from your hand. 11 For from the (W)rising of the sun even to its setting, (X)My name shall be (Y)great among the nations, and in every place (Z)frankincense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name shall be (AA)great among the nations,” says the Lord of armies. 12 “But you are (AB)profaning it by your saying, ‘The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is to be despised.’ 13 You also say, ‘See, [k]how (AC)tiresome it is!’ And you view it as trivial,” says the Lord of armies, “and you bring what was taken by (AD)robbery and what is (AE)lame or sick; so you bring the offering! Should I (AF)accept it from your hand?” says the Lord. 14 “But cursed be the (AG)swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a (AH)blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great (AI)King,” says the Lord of armies, “and My name is [l](AJ)feared among the [m]nations.”
