7 你们把污秽的食物献在我的祭坛上，还说，‘我们在何事上玷污了你呢？’你们说耶和华的桌子是可藐视的。 8 你们拿瞎眼、瘸腿和有病的牲畜来献祭，难道这不是罪过吗？你试试把这样的东西送给你的省长，看他会不会悦纳你、恩待你。这是万军之耶和华说的。”
9 现在，你们祈求上帝向我们施恩吧！然而，你们献上这样的祭物，祂怎会垂听你们的祈求呢？

7 “By offering defiled food(A) on my altar.
“But you ask,(B) ‘How have we defiled you?’
“By saying that the Lord’s table(C) is contemptible. 8 When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals,(D) is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased(E) with you? Would he accept you?” says the Lord Almighty.(F)
9 “Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings(G) from your hands, will he accept(H) you?”—says the Lord Almighty.

7 Genom att ni offrar oren mat
på mitt altare.
Och ni frågar:
”Hur har vi kränkt din renhet?”
Genom att ni säger:
”Herrens bord
betyder ingenting.”
8 (A) Om ni bär fram
ett blint djur som offer,
är inte det något ont?
Om ni bär fram
det som är lamt och sjukt,[a]
är inte det något ont?
Kom med sådant
till din ståthållare[b]!
Tror du han blir glad
och tar emot dig?
säger Herren Sebaot.
9 Men bönfall nu inför Gud
att han förbarmar sig över oss.
När det kommer sådant
från era händer,
ska han då ta emot er?
säger Herren Sebaot.

7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts.
9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the Lord of hosts.
