⁶「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。

「無論男女，若損害別人就是不忠於耶和華，就是犯罪。 ⁷那人必須認罪，賠償損失，並且必須加賠五分之一。 ⁸如果受害人已死，又沒有可以接受賠償的近親，賠償就屬於耶和華，要歸祭司所有。那人還要再獻上一隻公綿羊為自己贖罪。

Numbers 5:6-8

New International Version

⁶“Say to the Israelites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way^[a] and so is unfaithful^(A) to the Lord is guilty^(B) ⁷and must confess^(C) the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution^(D) for the wrong they have done, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged. ⁸But if that person has no close relative to whom restitution can be made for the wrong, the restitution belongs to the Lord and must be given to the priest, along with the ram^(E) with which atonement is made for the wrongdoer.^(F)

⁶Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the Lord, and that person be guilty;

⁷Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

⁸But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the Lord, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
