女子繼承產業的律例
36 基列是約瑟之子瑪拿西的孫子，瑪吉的兒子。他宗族中的各族長來見摩西和做以色列人首領的各族長，說： 2 「耶和華曾吩咐我主用抽籤的方式把土地分給以色列人，還吩咐我主將我們兄弟西羅非哈的產業分給他的女兒們。 3 但如果她們嫁給其他支派的人，從我們祖業中分給她們的產業就會歸入她們夫家的支派。這樣的話，我們抽籤分到的土地就會減少。 4 到了以色列人的禧年，這些女兒的產業就會歸給她們丈夫的支派，我們支派的祖業就會失去她們那份產業。」
5 摩西照耶和華的話吩咐以色列人說：「約瑟支派的人說的對。 6 關於西羅非哈的女兒們，耶和華說她們可以自由嫁人，但必須嫁給本支派的人。 7 以色列人的產業不可從一個支派轉到另一個支派，各支派必須守住本支派的祖業。 8 繼承了產業的女子必須嫁給本支派的人，以便以色列人都能守住自己的祖業。 9 以色列人的產業不可從一個支派轉到另一個支派，各支派必須守住本支派的產業。」

Inheritance by Marriage
36 (A)Now the heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came forward and spoke before Moses and before the leaders, the heads of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, 2 and they said, “The Lord commanded my lord to give the land by lot to the sons of Israel as an inheritance, and my lord (B)was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters. 3 But if they [a]marry one of the sons of the other tribes of the sons of Israel, their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; so it will be withdrawn from our allotted inheritance. 4 And when the (C)jubilee of the sons of Israel takes place, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; so their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
5 Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel in accordance with the [b]word of the Lord, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph is right in its statements. 6 (D)This is [c]what the Lord has commanded regarding the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them marry [d]whomever they wish; only they must marry within the family of the tribe of their father.’ 7 So (E)no inheritance of the sons of Israel will [e]be transferred from tribe to tribe, for the sons of Israel shall each [f]retain possession of the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8 (F)And every daughter who comes into possession of an inheritance of any tribe of the sons of Israel shall marry one of the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers. 9 So no inheritance will [g]be transferred from one tribe to another tribe, for the tribes of the sons of Israel shall each [h]retain possession of its own inheritance.”
10 Just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did: 11 (G)Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad married their uncles’ sons. 12 They married those from the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance [i]remained with the tribe of the family of their father.
13 (H)These are the commandments and the ordinances which the Lord commanded to the sons of Israel through Moses in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan opposite Jericho.

36 Y los jefes de las casas paternas de la familia de los hijos de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de los hijos de José, se acercaron(A) y hablaron ante Moisés y ante los jefes, las cabezas de las casas paternas de los israelitas. 2 Y dijeron: «El Señor ordenó a mi señor dar la tierra por sorteo a los israelitas por heredad, y el Señor ordenó a mi señor dar la heredad de Zelofehad, nuestro hermano, a sus hijas(B). 3 Pero si ellas se casan con alguien de los hijos de las otras tribus de los israelitas, su heredad será quitada de la herencia de nuestros padres, y será añadida a la heredad de la tribu a la que ellos pertenezcan; y así será quitada de nuestra heredad. 4 Y cuando llegue el jubileo(C) de los israelitas, entonces su heredad será añadida a la heredad de la tribu a la que ellos pertenezcan; así su heredad será quitada de la heredad de la tribu de nuestros padres».
5 Entonces Moisés ordenó a los israelitas, conforme a la palabra del Señor y dijo: «La tribu de los hijos de José tiene razón en lo que dice. 6 Esto es lo que el Señor ha ordenado tocante a las hijas de Zelofehad: “Cásense con el que bien les parezca; pero deben casarse dentro de la familia de la tribu de su padre(D)”. 7 Así, ninguna heredad de los israelitas será traspasada de tribu a tribu, pues los israelitas retendrán cada uno la heredad de la tribu de sus padres(E). 8 Y toda hija que entre en posesión de una heredad en alguna de las tribus de los israelitas, se casará con alguien de la familia de la tribu de su padre, a fin de que los israelitas posean cada uno la heredad de sus padres(F). 9 De esta manera, ninguna heredad será traspasada de una tribu a otra tribu, pues las tribus de los israelitas retendrán cada una su propia heredad».
10 Y las hijas de Zelofehad hicieron tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés, 11 pues Maala, Tirsa, Hogla, Milca y Noa, las hijas de Zelofehad(G), se casaron con los hijos de sus tíos. 12 Se casaron con los de las familias de los hijos de Manasés, hijo de José, y su heredad permaneció con la tribu de la familia de su padre.
13 Estos son los mandamientos y las ordenanzas que el Señor dio a los israelitas por medio de Moisés en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó(H).
