6 他又用三點四噸銀子從以色列雇來十萬精兵。 7 一位上帝的僕人來對他說：「王啊，不要讓以色列的軍隊與你同去，因為耶和華不與以色列人——以法蓮的子孫同在。 8 你若一定要去，即使你奮勇爭戰，上帝也必使你敗在敵人面前，因為上帝有能力幫助，也有能力傾覆。」

New International Version
6 He also hired a hundred thousand fighting men from Israel for a hundred talents[a] of silver.
7 But a man of God came to him and said, “Your Majesty, these troops from Israel(A) must not march with you, for the Lord is not with Israel—not with any of the people of Ephraim. 8 Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.”(B)
