12 大衛在洗革拉躲避基士的兒子掃羅的時候，有些勇士來投奔他，幫助他作戰。 2 他們是弓箭手，左右手都能甩石射箭，來自便雅憫支派，與掃羅同族。 3 他們的首領是亞希以謝，其次是約阿施，都是基比亞人示瑪的兒子，還有亞斯瑪威的兒子耶薛和毗力，以及比拉迦、亞拿突人耶戶， 4 統領三十位勇士的傑出戰士基遍人以實買雅，另有耶利米、雅哈悉、約哈難、基得拉人約撒拔、 5 伊利烏賽、耶利摩、比亞利雅、示瑪利雅、哈律弗人示法提雅、 6 可拉人以利加拿、耶西亞、亞薩列、約以謝、雅朔班、 7 基多人耶羅罕的兒子猶拉和西巴第雅。
8 有些迦得支派的人到曠野的堡壘投奔大衛，他們作戰英勇，善用盾和矛，貌似雄獅，快如山鹿。 9 他們為首的是以薛，其次是俄巴底雅，第三是以利押， 10 第四是彌施瑪拿，第五是耶利米， 11 第六是亞太，第七是以利業， 12 第八是約哈難，第九是以利薩巴， 13 第十是耶利米，第十一是末巴奈。 14 他們都是迦得支派的將領，級別最低的統領一百人，最高的統領一千人。 15 一月，約旦河水漲過兩岸的時候，他們渡到河對岸，把住在平原的人打得東奔西逃。
16 便雅憫支派和猶大支派中也有人到堡壘投奔大衛， 17 大衛出去迎接他們，說：「如果你們是好心來幫助我的，我就與你們結盟，但如果你們把我這無罪之人出賣給敵人，願我們祖先的上帝鑒察、懲罰你們。」 18 當時，上帝的靈感動那三十位勇士的首領亞瑪撒，他就說：
「大衛啊，我們是你的人！
耶西的兒子啊，我們擁護你！
願你無比昌盛！
願幫助你的人也都昌盛！
因為你的上帝幫助你。」
大衛便收留他們，派他們統領他的隊伍。
19 從前，大衛和非利士人一同去攻打掃羅的時候，有些瑪拿西人來投奔大衛。但大衛及其部下沒有幫助非利士人作戰，因為非利士人的首領商議後，害怕大衛拿著非利士人的頭顱去歸順他的主人掃羅，便讓他們走了。 20 大衛回洗革拉的時候，瑪拿西支派的千夫長押拿、約撒拔、耶疊、米迦勒、約撒拔、以利戶、洗勒太都來投奔他。 21 他們都是將領，作戰英勇，幫助大衛抗擊匪徒。 22 那時天天有人來投奔大衛，以致形成一支大軍，好像上帝的軍隊。

投奔大衛的迦得勇士
8 迦得支派中，有些人走到曠野的山寨去投奔大衛，他們都是英勇的戰士，善於作戰，能使用盾牌和長槍；他們的面貌好像獅子，他們敏捷得好像山上的羚羊。 9 第一個是以薛，第二是俄巴底雅，第三是以利押， 10 第四是彌施瑪拿，第五是耶利米， 11 第六是亞太，第七是以利業， 12 第八是約哈難，第九是以利薩巴， 13 第十是耶利米，第十一是末巴奈。 14 這些都是迦得支派中的軍長，最小的一個能抵擋一百人，最大的一個能抵擋一千人。 15 在正月，約旦河水漲過兩岸的時候，這些人過了河，使全平原的人都東奔西逃。

“大衛啊，我們是來歸從你；
耶西的兒子啊，我們是來跟隨你；
願你平平安安，
願幫助你的人也都平安，
因為你的 神幫助了你。”
於是大衛收留了他們，立他們作軍長。
投奔大衛的瑪拿西人
19 大衛從前與非利士人一起，要去攻擊掃羅的時候，有些瑪拿西支派的人投奔大衛；但他們沒有幫助非利士人，因為非利士人的領袖商議後把他遣回，說：“恐怕大衛帶著我們的首級歸向他的主人掃羅。” 20 大衛回到洗革拉的時候，瑪拿西支派的押拿、約撒拔、耶疊、米迦勒、約撒拔、以利戶、洗勒太來投奔他，他們都是瑪拿西支派中的千夫長。 21 他們幫助大衛，與他一同攻擊賊匪；他們全是英勇的戰士，是軍隊的領袖。 22 那時，天天都有人投奔大衛，要幫助他，以致成了一支大軍，好像 神的軍兵一樣。
投奔大衛的軍兵
23 預備作戰的首領來到希伯崙見大衛，要照著耶和華的命令把掃羅的國位轉歸大衛，他們的數目如下： 24 猶大支派的子孫拿盾牌和長槍的，共有六千八百人，都預備好作戰。 25 西緬支派的子孫能作戰的英勇戰士，共有七千一百人。 26 利未支派的子孫中，共有四千六百人。 27 耶何耶大是亞倫家的領袖，跟隨他的，共有三千七百人。 28 還有一個年輕的英勇戰士撒督和他家族的二十二個領袖。 29 便雅憫支派的子孫中，掃羅的親族也有三千人，直到現在他們多半支持掃羅家。 30 以法蓮支派的子孫中，在自己家族中有名聲的英勇的戰士，共有二萬零八百人。 31 瑪拿西半個支派中有記名的，共一萬八千人，都來擁立大衛為王。 32 以薩迦支派的子孫中，通曉時勢和知道以色列當怎樣行的，共有二百個首領；他們所有的親族都聽從他們的命令。 33 西布倫支派的子孫中，能出去作戰、可以使用各種兵器，行軍整齊、不生二心的，共有五萬人。 34 拿弗他利支派的子孫中，有一千個領袖；跟隨他們拿著盾牌和矛槍的，共有三萬七千人。 35 但支派的子孫中能作戰的，共有二萬八千六百人。 36 亞設支派的子孫中，能出去上陣作戰的，共有四萬人。 37 在約旦河東岸，流本支派、迦得支派和瑪拿西半個支派的人中，能拿各種兵器作戰的，共有十二萬。
38 以上這些戰士，行軍齊整，一心一意來到希伯崙，要立大衛作以色列王；其餘的以色列人也都一心一意要立大衛為王。 39 他們在那裡三天，與大衛在一起吃喝，因為他們的親族給他們預備好了。 40 在他們附近的人，甚至以薩迦、西布倫和拿弗他利支派的人，都用驢、駱駝、騾子和牛，給他們帶來了很多食物：麵餅、無花果餅、葡萄餅乾、酒、油和許多牛羊，以色列全境就充滿歡樂。

12 Estos son los que vinieron ante David en Siclag, estando él aún encerrado por causa de Saúl hijo de Cis; y eran de los valientes ayudadores de la guerra.
2 Estaban armados de arcos, y usaban de ambas manos en tirar piedras con honda, y saetas con arco, de los hermanos de Saúl de Benjamín.
3 El principal era Ahiezer, después Joás, hijos de Semaa, el gabaatita; Jeziel, y Pelet, hijos de Azmavet, Beraca, y Jehú, el anatotita;
4 e Ismaías, el gabaonita, valiente entre los treinta, y más que los treinta; y Jeremías, Jahaziel, Johanán, Jozabad, el gederatita,
5 Eluzai, Jerimot, Bealías, Semarías, Sefatías, el harufita;
6 Elcana, Isías, Azareel, Joezer, y Jasobeam, de Coré;
7 y Joela, y Zebadías, hijos de Jeroham de Gedor.
8 También de los de Gad huyeron a David, estando en la fortaleza en el desierto, muy valientes hombres de guerra para pelear, puestos en orden con escudo y pavés; sus rostros como rostros de leones, y ligeros como las cabras monteses.

14 Estos fueron capitanes del ejército de los hijos de Gad. El menor de ellos tenía a cargo cien hombres, y el mayor de mil.
15 Estos pasaron el Jordán en el mes primero, cuando se había desbordado sobre todas sus riberas; e hicieron huir a todos los de los valles al oriente y al poniente.
16 Asimismo algunos de los hijos de Benjamín y de Judá vinieron a David a la fortaleza.
17 Y David salió a ellos, y les habló diciendo: Si habéis venido a mí para paz y para ayudarme, mi corazón será unido con vosotros; mas si para engañarme en pro de mis enemigos, siendo mis manos sin violencia, véalo el Dios de nuestros padres, y demándelo.
18 Entonces se envistió el espíritu en Amasai, príncipe de treinta, y dijo: Por ti, oh David, y contigo, oh hijo de Jessé. Paz, paz contigo, y paz con tus ayudadores; pues que también tu Dios te ayuda. Y David los recibió, y los puso entre los capitanes de la cuadrilla.
19 También se pasaron a David algunos de Manasés, cuando vino con los filisteos a la batalla contra Saúl, aunque no les ayudaron; porque los cardinales de los filisteos, habido consejo, le despidieron, diciendo: Con nuestras cabezas se pasará a su señor Saúl.
20 Así que viniendo él a Siclag, se pasaron a él de los de Manasés, Adnas, Jozabad, Jediaiel, Micael, Jozabad, Eliú, y Ziletai, cabezas de millares de los de Manasés.
21 Estos ayudaron a David con una compañía; porque todos ellos eran hombres valientes, y fueron capitanes en el ejército.

24 De los hijos de Judá que traían escudo y lanza, seis mil ochocientos, a punto de guerra.
25 De los hijos de Simeón, hombres valientes de gran valor para la guerra, siete mil cien.
26 De los hijos de Leví, cuatro mil seiscientos;
27 asimismo Joiada, príncipe de los del linaje de Aarón, y con él tres mil setecientos;
28 y Sadoc, joven valiente de valor, y de la casa de su padre veintidós príncipes.
29 De los hijos de Benjamín hermanos de Saúl, tres mil; porque aun en aquel tiempo muchos de ellos tenían la guardia de la casa de Saúl.

38 Todos estos hombres de guerra, ordenados para guerrear, vinieron con corazón perfecto a Hebrón, para poner a David por rey sobre todo Israel; y asimismo todos los demás de Israel tenían un mismo corazón para poner a David por rey.
39 Y estuvieron allí con David tres días comiendo y bebiendo, porque sus hermanos habían preparado para ellos.
40 Y asimismo los que les eran vecinos, hasta Isacar y Zabulón y Neftalí, trajeron pan en asnos, camellos, mulos, y bueyes; comida, y harina, masas de higos, y pasas, vino, y aceite, bueyes y ovejas en abundancia, porque en Israel había alegría.

12 Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.
2 They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.
3 The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite.
4 And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,
5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,
6 Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korhites,
7 And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
9 Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
11 Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
13 Jeremiah the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
14 These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
15 These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
16 And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.
17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
18 Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
19 And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.
20 As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
21 And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
22 For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
23 And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the Lord.
24 The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.
25 Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.
26 Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
27 And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;
28 And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house twenty and two captains.
29 And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
30 And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.
31 And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.
32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
33 Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.
34 And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
35 And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
36 And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.
37 And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
38 All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
39 And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.
40 Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.
