基督十字架的信息
2 兄弟们，以前我到你们中间时，我没有用华丽的辞藻和深奥的智慧向你们宣讲上帝的奥秘真理。 2 因为当我和你们在一起时，我立志除了耶稣基督和他被钉死在十字架上的事，其它的事情一概不知。 3 以前我到你们那里时，是软弱的，害怕得发抖。 4 我的教导和我所说的没有用令人信服的智慧的话，但是我的传道却有圣灵力量作证， 5 以便使你们的信仰不是建立在人类的智慧之上，而是以上帝的力量为依据。
上帝的智慧
6 我们向成熟的人传授智慧，这智慧不是这个世界的智慧，也不是世上正在没落的统治者的智慧。 7 我们宣讲的是上帝的秘密智慧，是那一直隐藏着、但是上帝在创世之前就为我们的荣耀预定好了的智慧。 8 世上的统治者中没有一个人懂得这智慧。假如他们懂得，他们就不会把荣耀的主钉死在十字架上了。 9 正如《经》上所说的那样：
“上帝为爱他的那些人所准备的：
眼睛没有看见过，
耳朵没有听说过，
也不曾有人想到过。” (A)
10 但是上帝通过圣灵把它启示给我们。圣灵无所不知，它甚至知道上帝的深奥的秘密。 11 因为除了一个人自己的灵之外，谁还能知道他的思想呢？同样，除了上帝的灵，没有谁知道上帝的想法。 12 我们接受的不是属于这个世界的灵，而是来自上帝的灵，好让我们知道上帝给予我们的恩赐。 13 我们不是用人类智慧所教授的语言来宣讲这些恩赐，而是用圣灵所教授的语言，用属灵的语言来解释属灵的真理。 14 没有圣灵的人领受不到上帝之灵所揭示的真理。因为对于他来说，它们是愚蠢的，他不能理解它们，因为这些真理只能在属灵的角度上受到判断。 15 但是，属灵的人能判断一切，而没有人能评判他。 16 正如《经》上所说：
“谁知道主的心？
谁能为主出谋划策？”
但是我们有基督的心。

2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

କ୍ରୁଶବିଦ୍ଧ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା
2 ପ୍ରିୟ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ, ମୁଁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଥିଲି, ସେତେବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସତ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଥିଲି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ବାକ୍ଗ୍ଭତୁରୀ ବା ଜ୍ଞାନର କଥା କହି ନ ଥିଲି। 2 କାରଣ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ, ମୁଁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଓ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଭୋଗ ବ୍ୟତୀତ, ଅନ୍ୟସବୁ କଥା ଭୁଲିଯିବି। 3 ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଓ ଭୟରେ ଥରି ଥରି ସେଠାକୁ ଆସିଥିଲି। 4 ମୋର କଥା ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇବା ଭଳି ଜାଗତିକ ଜ୍ଞାନର କଥା ନ ଥିଲା। ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ଶିକ୍ଷା ପବିତ୍ରଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦତ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତିର ପ୍ରମାଣ ଅଟେ। 5 ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଜ୍ଞାନର ନ ହୋଇ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ହେଉ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଏପରି କଲି।
ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଜ୍ଞାନ
6 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅଭିଜ୍ଞ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଜ୍ଞାନ ସଂସାରରୁ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଯୁଗର ନେତା ମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନ ନୁହେଁ। ଏହି ନେତାମାନେ ଆପଣା ଶକ୍ତି ହରାଉ ଅଛନ୍ତି। 7 କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୂଢ଼ ଜ୍ଞାନର କଥା କହୁଛୁ। ଜଗତର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ମହିମା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି ଜ୍ଞାନର ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିଲେ। 8 ଏହି ଜଗତର କୌଣସି ନେତା ଏହାକୁ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ବୁଝି ଥାଆନ୍ତେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଗୌରବମୟ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶବିଦ୍ଧ କରି ମାରି ନ ଥା’ନ୍ତେ। 9 କିନ୍ତୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କରେ ଏହିପରି ଲେଖା ଅଛି:
“କୌଣସି ଆଖି ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ।
କୌଣସି କାନ ଶୁଣି ନାହିଁ।
କେହିହେଲେ କଳ୍ପନା କରି ନାହିଁ;
ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କ’ଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ରଖିଛନ୍ତି।”(A)
10 କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏହି ନିଗୂଢ଼ ବିଷୟମାନ ଆମକୁ ଦେଖାଇ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
ଆତ୍ମା ସବୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଅତି ଗୋପନୀୟ କଥା ମଧ୍ୟ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। 11 କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଏକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମନକଥା ଜାଣିପାରେ ନାହିଁ। କେବଳ ମଣିଷ ଭିତରେ ଥିବା ଆତ୍ମା ତା'ର ମନକଥା ଜାଣି ପାରନ୍ତି। ସେହିଭଳି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମନକଥା ତାଙ୍କରି ଆତ୍ମା ବ୍ୟତୀତ କିଏ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ? 12 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜଗତର ଆତ୍ମା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଜାଣି ପାରିବା।
13 ସେ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ କହିଲା ବେଳେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର କଳ୍ପିତ ଜ୍ଞାନର ବାକ୍ୟ କହୁ ନାହୁଁ, ବରଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆତ୍ମା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଶିଖିଥିବା ବାକ୍ୟ କହୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆତ୍ମିକ ବିଷୟ ବୁଝାଇବା ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ରଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁ। 14 ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ନୁହେଁ, ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମିକ ସତ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ମୁର୍ଖାମୀ ବୋଲି ଭାବେ। ସେ ଆତ୍ମାର ସତ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବୁଝିପାରେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ କେବଳ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରି ହେବ। 15 କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବିଷୟର ଉଚିତ୍ ମୂଲ୍ୟାୟନ କରି ପାରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ନିଜେ କାହାରି ଦ୍ୱାରା ବିଗ୍ଭରିତ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। 16 ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କୁହେ:
“ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ କିଏ ଜାଣି ଅଛି?
କ’ଣ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କିଏ କହିବ?”(B)
କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ମନ ପାଇଅଛୁ।

2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom(A) as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.(B) 3 I came to you(C) in weakness(D) with great fear and trembling.(E) 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words,(F) but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,(G) 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.(H)
God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature,(I) but not the wisdom of this age(J) or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.(K) 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery(L) that has been hidden(M) and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age(N) understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.(O) 9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[b]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—(P)
10 these are the things God has revealed(Q) to us by his Spirit.(R)
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts(S) except their own spirit(T) within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit(U) of the world,(V) but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom(W) but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[c] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God(X) but considers them foolishness,(Y) and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit(Z) makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,
But we have the mind of Christ.(AB)
