羊群必遭殺戮
11 黎巴嫩啊，打開你的門吧，
好讓火焰吞噬你的香柏樹。
2 松樹啊，哀號吧，
因為香柏樹已經倒下，
挺拔的樹木已被毀壞。
巴珊的橡樹啊，哀號吧，
因為茂密的樹林已被砍倒。
3 聽啊，牧人在哀號，
因為他們肥美的草場已被毀壞。
聽啊，獅子在吼叫，
因為約旦河畔的叢林已被毀壞。
4 我的上帝耶和華說：「你去牧養這群待宰的羊吧。 5 買羊宰羊的不受懲罰，賣羊的說，『耶和華當受稱頌！我發財了。』牠們的牧人不憐憫牠們。 6 因此，我不再憐憫這地方的居民，我要使他們落在鄰人及其君王手中，任這地方被摧毀，必不從敵人手中拯救他們。這是耶和華說的。」
7 於是，我牧養這群最困苦的待宰之羊。我拿了兩根杖，一根叫「恩惠」，一根叫「聯合」，開始牧養羊群。 8 我在一個月之內除掉了三個牧人。
然而，我厭煩羊群，他們也厭惡我。 9 於是我說：「我不再牧養你們了。要死的就死吧，要滅亡的就滅亡吧，讓剩下的互相吞吃吧。」 10 然後，我拿起那根叫「恩惠」的杖，把它折斷，以廢除我與萬民所立的約。 11 約就在當天廢除了，那些注視著我的困苦羊便知道這是上帝的話。
12 我對他們說：「你們若認為好，就給我工錢，不然就算了。」於是，他們給了我三十塊銀子作工錢。 13 耶和華對我說：「把這一大筆錢丟給窯戶吧，這就是我在他們眼中的價值！」我便把三十塊銀子丟給聖殿中的窯戶。 14 我又把那根叫「聯合」的杖折斷，以斷開猶大和以色列之間的手足之情。
15 耶和華又對我說：「你再拿起愚昧牧人的器具， 16 因為我要使一位牧人在地上興起，他不照顧喪亡的，不尋找失散的，不醫治受傷的，不牧養健壯的，反而吃肥羊的肉，撕掉牠們的蹄子。
17 「丟棄羊群的無用牧人有禍了！
願刀砍在他的臂膀和右眼上！
願他的臂膀徹底枯槁，
他的右眼完全失明！」

King James Version
11 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
2 Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
4 Thus saith the Lord my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

2 Hỡi các cây thông, hãy khóc đi,
vì cây hương nam đã ngã xuống,
vì các cây cao lớn đã chặt bỏ rồi.
Hãy khóc đi, hỡi các cây sồi Ba-san,
vì đám rừng vĩ đại đã bị đốn xuống.
3 Hãy nghe tiếng khóc của các kẻ chăn chiên
vì những đồng cỏ xanh tốt của họ
đã bị tiêu hủy rồi.
Hãy nghe tiếng sư tử gầm thét
vì đất xinh tốt của sông Giô-đanh
đã bị tiêu hủy rồi.
Hai người chăn
4 Nầy là lời của CHÚA là Thượng-Đế của ta phán: “Hãy nuôi dưỡng bầy chiên sắp bị giết. 5 Những người mua bầy chiên giết hại con chiên mà không bị trừng phạt. Những kẻ bán chiên bảo, ‘Cám ơn CHÚA vì tôi được giàu rồi.’ Thậm chí kẻ chăn không hề tội nghiệp cho chiên mình. 6 CHÚA phán, ‘Ta không còn thương hại cho dân cư xứ nầy nữa. Ta sẽ để cho mọi người đều nằm dưới quyền của láng giềng và vua mình. Chúng sẽ hủy hoại xứ. Ta sẽ không giải cứu một người nào trong vòng họ hết.’
7 Cho nên ta nuôi đàn chiên sắp bị giết, đặc biệt là các con ốm yếu nhất. Rồi ta lấy hai cây gậy; một cây ta đặt tên là Ân huệ, cây kia tên Đoàn kết, rồi ta nuôi đàn chiên ta. 8 Trong vòng một tháng ta dẹp ba người chăn. Chúng ghét ta cho nên ta bất bình vì chúng. 9 Ta bảo, ‘Ta sẽ không chăm sóc các ngươi như người chăn nữa. Con nào chết thì chết đi, còn nào bị diệt thì diệt đi. Con nào còn sống sót thì ăn thịt lẫn nhau.’
10 Rồi ta sẽ bẻ gãy cây gậy mang tên Ân-huệ để hủy giao ước mà Thượng Đế lập với dân Ngài. 11 Ngày đó giao ước bị phá bỏ. Con nào yếu nhất trong bầy đang nhìn ta thì biết rằng những lời nầy từ CHÚA mà đến.
12 Rồi ta bảo, ‘Nếu các ngươi muốn trả công cho ta thì trả, còn không muốn cũng chẳng sao.’ Vậy chúng trả cho ta ba mươi miếng bạc.
13 CHÚA phán cùng ta, ‘Hãy ném bạc đó cho thợ gốm.’ Đó là trị giá mà chúng đánh trên ta. Cho nên ta lấy ba mươi miếng bạc [b] và ném cho thợ gốm trong Đền thờ CHÚA.
14 Rồi ta bẻ gãy cây gậy thứ nhì, gọi là Đoàn Kết, để phá bỏ tình huynh đệ giữa Giu-đa và Ít-ra-en.”
15 Rồi CHÚA bảo ta, “Hãy lấy những đồ dùng của kẻ chăn chiên ngu dại lần nữa, 16 vì ta sẽ kiếm một người chăn chiên mới cho xứ. Người sẽ không lo cho các con chiên sắp chết, không đi tìm các chiên con, cũng không chữa lành những con bị thương hay cho các con chiên mạnh khoẻ ăn. Nhưng người sẽ ăn thịt các con chiên tốt nhất và tuốt móng chúng nó.
17 Khốn cho người chăn vô dụng
bỏ rơi bầy chiên mình.
Gươm sẽ chém tay nó
và đâm qua mắt phải của nó.
Cánh tay nó sẽ không còn sức lực,
và mắt phải nó sẽ bị mù.”

Desolation of Israel
11 Open (A)your doors, O Lebanon,
That fire may devour your cedars.
2 Wail, O cypress, for the (B)cedar has fallen,
Because the mighty trees are ruined.
Wail, O oaks of Bashan,
(C)For the thick forest has come down.
3 There is the sound of wailing (D)shepherds!
For their glory is in ruins.
There is the sound of roaring lions!
For the [a]pride of the Jordan is in ruins.
Prophecy of the Shepherds
4 Thus says the Lord my God, “Feed the flock for slaughter, 5 whose owners slaughter them and (E)feel no guilt; those who sell them (F)say, ‘Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich’; and their shepherds do (G)not pity them. 6 For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land,” says the Lord. “But indeed I will give everyone into his neighbor’s hand and into the hand of his king. They shall [b]attack the land, and I will not deliver them from their hand.”
7 So I fed the flock for slaughter, [c]in particular (H)the poor of the flock. I took for myself two staffs: the one I called [d]Beauty, and the other I called [e]Bonds; and I fed the flock. 8 I [f]dismissed the three shepherds (I)in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me. 9 Then I said, “I will not feed you. (J)Let what is dying die, and what is perishing perish. Let those that are left eat each other’s flesh.” 10 And I took my staff, [g]Beauty, and cut it in two, that I might break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples. 11 So it was broken on that day. Thus (K)the[h] poor of the flock, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord. 12 Then I said to them, “If it is [i]agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” So they (L)weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the (M)potter”—that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord for the potter. 14 Then I cut in two my other staff, [j]Bonds, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 And the Lord said to me, (N)“Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd. 16 For indeed I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in (O)pieces.
17 “Woe(P) to the worthless shepherd,
Who leaves the flock!
A sword shall be against his arm
And against his right eye;
His arm shall completely wither,
And his right eye shall be totally blinded.”
