四輛馬車
6 我又舉目觀看，見有四輛馬車從兩座銅山之間出來。 2 第一輛車套著紅馬，第二輛車套著黑馬， 3 第三輛車套著白馬，第四輛車套著斑點馬，馬都很雄壯。 4 我問與我說話的天使：「主啊，這些馬車是什麼意思？」 5 天使說：「他們是侍立在天下之主面前的四靈[a]，正在出發。」 6 套著黑馬的車前往北方，套著白馬的車前往西方[b]，套著斑點馬的車前往南方。 7 這些雄壯的馬出來，迫不及待地要巡察大地。天使說：「你們去巡察大地吧！」牠們便遵命而行。 8 他又高聲對我說：「看啊，那些到北方去的已在那裡使我的心得到安慰。」
為約書亞加冕
9 耶和華的話傳給了我，說： 10 「被擄到巴比倫的黑玳、多比雅和耶大雅已經回來了，你要收集他們奉獻的金銀，並在當天去西番雅的兒子約西亞家。 11 要用這些金銀製作冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子約書亞大祭司頭上， 12 告訴他，萬軍之耶和華說，『看啊，那被稱為大衛苗裔的要從自己的地方興起，建造耶和華的殿。 13 祂必建造耶和華的殿，帶著王者的尊榮坐在寶座上掌權，寶座上也必坐著祭司[c]，兩者和諧共存。』 14 這冠冕要留在耶和華的殿中，作為對黑玳[d]、多比雅、耶大雅和西番雅的兒子約西亞[e]的紀念。」
15 遠方的人也要來建造耶和華的殿。那時你們便知道是萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來的。你們若全心遵從你們上帝耶和華的話，這事就必成就。

6 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
6 The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
9 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.

6 Je levai de nouveau les yeux et je vis quatre chars déboucher d’entre les deux montagnes, et ces montagnes étaient de bronze[a]. 2 Au premier char étaient attelés des chevaux roux, au deuxième, des chevaux noirs, 3 au troisième, des chevaux blancs, et au quatrième, de vigoureux chevaux mouchetés[b]. 4 Je demandai à l’ange qui me parlait : Que représentent ces attelages, mon seigneur ?
5 Il me répondit : Ce sont les quatre vents du ciel[c]. Ils se sont tenus devant le Seigneur de toute la terre et maintenant ils sortent. 6 Le char tiré par les chevaux noirs se dirige vers le pays du Nord ; celui qui est attelé des chevaux blancs les suit ; les chevaux mouchetés partent en direction du pays du Midi[d].
7 Tous ces chevaux vigoureux s’avancèrent, impatients d’aller parcourir la terre.
Alors il leur dit : Allez, parcourez la terre !
Et ils s’élancèrent pour parcourir la terre.
8 Puis il m’appela pour me dire : Regarde, ceux qui partent pour le pays du Nord vont assouvir ma colère contre le pays du Nord.
Le couronnement du Roi-Prêtre
9 L’Eternel m’adressa la parole en ces termes : 10 Va prendre une part des dons que Heldaï, Tobiya et Yedaeya apportent de la part des exilés : rends-toi aujourd’hui dans la maison de Josias, fils de Sophonie, où ces gens viennent d’arriver en provenance de Babylone[e]. 11 Tu y prendras de l’argent et de l’or qu’ils apportent pour en faire une couronne[f], et tu la poseras sur la tête de Josué, fils de Yehotsadaq, le grand-prêtre.
12 Tu lui diras alors : « Ecoute ce que déclare le Seigneur des armées célestes : Voici un homme dont le nom est Germe, et sous ses pas, tout germera[g]. Il bâtira le temple de l’Eternel. 13 C’est lui qui bâtira le temple de l’Eternel. Il sera revêtu de majesté royale, et il siégera sur son trône pour gouverner. Il sera aussi prêtre sur son trône. Il y aura une pleine harmonie entre les deux fonctions[h].
14 La couronne sera conservée dans le temple de l’Eternel en souvenir de Hélem, de Tobiya, de Yedaeya et de la bonté du fils de[i] Sophonie.
15 Des gens viendront un jour de bien loin pour travailler à la construction du temple de l’Eternel, alors vous saurez que le Seigneur des armées célestes m’a envoyé vers vous. Cela s’accomplira si vous obéissez vraiment à l’Eternel votre Dieu. »
