兩棵橄欖樹的異象
4 那與我說話的天使回來喚醒我，我好像人在睡眠中被人喚醒一樣。
2 他對我說：“你看見了甚麼？”我回答：“我看見一個金燈臺，整個是金的，頂上有一個盆子，並有七盞燈；頂上的燈有七個燈嘴。 3 盆子旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在右邊，一棵在左邊。”
4 我問那與我說話的天使，說：“我主啊，這些是甚麼？”
5 那與我說話的天使回答我說：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”
6 他對我說：“這是耶和華對所羅巴伯所說的話：‘不是倚靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的靈。’這是萬軍之耶和華說的。 7 大山啊！你算得甚麼？你在所羅巴伯面前必夷為平地！他必安放那塊平頂的石頭，必有歡呼的聲音說：‘願恩惠、恩惠歸與這殿（“這殿”原文作“她”）。’”
8 耶和華的話又臨到我說： 9 “所羅巴伯的手奠立了這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這工；這樣，你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們這裡來。 10 誰藐視這日子，以為所作的是小事呢？他們看見所羅巴伯手裡拿著測錘，就必歡喜。”
是耶和華的這七眼，遍察全地。
11 我又再問那天使：“在這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？”
12 我又問他：“在兩根流出金色油的金管子旁邊的兩根橄欖樹枝，究竟是甚麼意思？”
13 他回答我：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”
14 他說：“這是兩位受膏者（“受膏者”或譯：“供應新油的人”），是服事全地之主的。”

The Vision of the Lampstand
4 Then the angel who was talking with me came back. He woke me up as if I had been asleep. 2 He asked me, “What do you see?”
I said, “I see a solid gold lampstand. There is a bowl at the top. And there are seven lamps. There are also seven places for wicks. 3 There are two olive trees by it. One is on the right of the bowl. And one is on the left.”
4 I asked the angel who talked with me, “Sir, what are these?”
5 The angel said, “Don’t you know what they are?”
“No, sir,” I said.
6 Then he told me, “This is the message from the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power. The power will come from my Spirit,’ says the Lord of heaven’s armies.
7 “No mountain can stand in Zerubbabel’s way. It will be flattened. Then he will bring out the topmost stone. There will be shouts of ‘It’s beautiful! It’s beautiful!’”
8 Then the Lord spoke his word to me again. He said: 9 “Zerubbabel has laid the foundation of this Temple. He will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of heaven’s armies has sent me to you.
10 “The people should not think that small beginnings are unimportant. They will be happy when they see Zerubbabel with tools, building the Temple.
“(These seven lamps stand for the eyes of the Lord. They look back and forth across the earth.)”
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand?”
12 I also asked him, “What are the two branches full of olives? The olive oil flows through the two gold pipes to the lamps.”
13 He answered, “Don’t you know what they are?”
“No, sir,” I said.
14 So he said, “They stand for two men. They have been appointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.”

The Gold Lampstand and the Two Olive Trees
4 Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke(A) me up, like someone awakened from sleep.(B) 2 He asked me, “What do you see?”(C)
I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand(D) with a bowl at the top and seven lamps(E) on it, with seven channels to the lamps. 3 Also there are two olive trees(F) by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”
4 I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 He answered, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I replied.(G)
6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:(H) ‘Not(I) by might nor by power,(J) but by my Spirit,’(K) says the Lord Almighty.
7 “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground.(L) Then he will bring out the capstone(M) to shouts(N) of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
8 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation(O) of this temple; his hands will also complete it.(P) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me(Q) to you.
10 “Who dares despise the day(R) of small things,(S) since the seven eyes(T) of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone[a] in the hand of Zerubbabel?”(U)
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees(V) on the right and the left of the lampstand?”
12 Again I asked him, “What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”
13 He replied, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I said.
14 So he said, “These are the two who are anointed(W) to[b] serve the Lord of all the earth.”
