两棵橄榄树的异象
4 那与我说话的天使回来唤醒我，我好象人在睡眠中被人唤醒一样。
2 他对我说：“你看见了甚么？”我回答：“我看见一个金灯台，整个是金的，顶上有一个盆子，并有七盏灯；顶上的灯有七个灯嘴。 3 盆子旁边有两棵橄榄树，一棵在右边，一棵在左边。”
4 我问那与我说话的天使，说：“我主啊，这些是甚么？”
5 那与我说话的天使回答我说：“你不知道这些是甚么意思吗？”我说：“我主啊，我不知道。”
6 他对我说：“这是耶和华对所罗巴伯所说的话：‘不是倚靠权势，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的灵。’这是万军之耶和华说的。 7 大山啊！你算得甚么？你在所罗巴伯面前必夷为平地！他必安放那块平顶的石头，必有欢呼的声音说：‘愿恩惠、恩惠归与这殿（“这殿”原文作“她”）。’”
8 耶和华的话又临到我说： 9 “所罗巴伯的手奠立了这殿的根基，他的手也必完成这工；这样，你就知道万军之耶和华差遣了我到你们这里来。 10 谁藐视这日子，以为所作的是小事呢？他们看见所罗巴伯手里拿着测锤，就必欢喜。”
是耶和华的这七眼，遍察全地。
11 我又再问那天使：“在这灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是甚么意思？”
12 我又问他：“在两根流出金色油的金管子旁边的两根橄榄树枝，究竟是甚么意思？”
13 他回答我：“你不知道这些是甚么意思吗？”我说：“我主啊，我不知道。”
14 他说：“这是两位受膏者（“受膏者”或译：“供应新油的人”），是服事全地之主的。”

金灯台和橄榄树
4 那位与我说话的天使又来唤醒我，像唤醒睡觉的人一样。 2 他问我：“你看见了什么？”
我说：“我看见一个纯金的灯台，上面有一个油碗，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏灯有七个灯芯。 3 灯台旁边有两棵橄榄树，左右各一棵。” 4 我问与我说话的天使：“主啊，这是什么意思？” 5 他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”
6 他对我说：“这是耶和华对所罗巴伯讲的话。万军之耶和华说，‘不靠权势，不靠才能，乃靠我的灵。 7 大山啊，你算什么？你必在所罗巴伯面前化为平地。他必搬出那块封殿顶的石头，伴随着欢呼声——愿恩典、恩典归于这殿！’”
8 耶和华的话又传给了我，说： 9 “所罗巴伯的手奠立这殿的根基，他的手也必完成这项工程。那时你便知道是万军之耶和华差遣我到你们这里来的。 10 谁敢藐视这微不足道的日子？人们看见所罗巴伯手中拿着线锤时，就必欢喜。
“这七盏灯是耶和华遍察天下的眼睛。”
11 我又问天使：“灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？” 12 然后我又问道：“流出橄榄油的两个金管旁边的两根橄榄枝是什么意思？” 13 他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。” 14 他说：“这是侍立在天下之主旁边的两位受膏者。”

Fifth Vision: The Lampstand and Olive Trees
4 The angel who spoke with me came again and wakened me, as one is wakened from sleep.(A) 2 He said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it; there are seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.(B) 3 And by it there are two olive trees, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”(C) 4 I said to the angel who spoke with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5 Then the angel who spoke with me answered me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 6 He said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.(D) 7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain, and he shall bring out the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’ ”(E)
8 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.(F) 10 For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel.
“These seven are the eyes of the Lord that range through the whole earth.”(G) 11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” 12 And a second time I said to him, “What are these two branches of the olive trees that pour out the oil[a] through the two golden pipes?” 13 He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”(H)

Zechariah Sees a Lamp-Stand
4 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and woke me up like a man would be made to wake up from his sleep. 2 He said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a gold lamp-stand with a cup at the top and seven lamps on it. And there are seven places to hold oil, one on the top of each of the lamps. 3 There are two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the cup and the other on its left side.” 4 Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5 So the angel who was speaking with me said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
God’s Promise to Zechariah
6 Then he said to me, “This is the Word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by strength nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of All. 7 ‘What are you, O great mountain? In front of Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring out the top stone and call out, “May God give it loving-favor!”’” 8 Also the Word of the Lord came to me saying, 9 “Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the first stones of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of All has sent me to you. 10 Who has hated the day of small things? Men will be glad when they see Zerubbabel building the walls of the Lord’s house. These seven are the eyes of the Lord which travel over all the earth.”
11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and left sides of the lamp-stand?” 12 A second time I said to him, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold places that hold the oil to be poured out?” 13 He answered me saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two who are set apart to serve the Lord of All the earth.”
