约书亚大祭司
3 耶和华又让我看见约书亚大祭司站在祂的天使面前，撒旦站在约书亚的右边要控诉他。 2 耶和华对撒旦说：“撒旦啊，耶和华斥责你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你！这人岂不像从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？” 3 那时，约书亚穿着污秽的衣服站在天使面前。 4 天使对侍立在周围的说：“脱掉他污秽的衣服。”他又对约书亚说：“看啊，我已除掉你的罪，我要给你穿上华美的衣服。”
5 我说：“要给他戴上洁净的礼冠。”他们便给他戴上洁净的礼冠、穿上华美的衣服。那时，耶和华的天使站在旁边。
6 耶和华的天使告诫约书亚： 7 “万军之耶和华说，‘你若遵行我的道，谨守我的吩咐，便可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇。我必让你在这些侍立的天使中间自由出入。 8 约书亚大祭司啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴们听着，你们都是将来之事的预兆——我将使我仆人大卫的苗裔兴起。 9 看啊，这是我在约书亚面前安置的石头，它有七眼[a]，我要在上面刻上字，并在一天之内除掉这地方的罪。这是万军之耶和华说的。 10 到那天，你们将各自邀请邻居坐在葡萄树和无花果树下。这是万军之耶和华说的。’”

The Vision of the High Priest
3 Then he showed me Joshua, the high priest, standing in front of the ·Lord’s angel [angel of the Lord; 1:11]. And ·Satan [or the Accuser/Adversary; Job 1–2; 1 Chr. 21:1] was standing by Joshua’s [Hag. 1:1] right ·side [hand] to accuse him. 2 The Lord said to ·Satan [or the Accuser/Adversary], “The Lord ·says no to [rebuke] you, ·Satan [Adversary; Accuser]! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem ·says no to [rebukes] you! ·This man was [L Isn’t this man…?] like a burning stick ·pulled [snatched] from the fire.”
3 Joshua was wearing ·dirty [filthy] clothes and was standing in front of the ·angel [messenger]. 4 The ·angel [messenger] said to those standing in front of him, “Take off those ·dirty [filthy] clothes.”
Then ·the angel [L he] said to Joshua, “Look, I have taken away your ·sin [iniquity] from you, and I am giving you beautiful, ·fine clothes [festal robes; fine vestments].”
5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him while the ·Lord’s angel [angel of the Lord; 1:11] stood there.
6 Then the ·Lord’s angel [angel of the Lord; 1:11] ·said [spoke solemnly; gave this charge] to Joshua, 7 “This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘If you ·do as I tell you [walk in my ways] and ·serve me [carefully keep my requirements], you will be in charge of my ·Temple [L house] and my courtyards. And I will let you be with ·these angels [L these] who are standing here.
8 “‘Listen, Joshua, the high priest, and your ·friends [colleagues; associates] who are sitting in front of you. They are ·symbols [a sign] of what will happen. [L Look; T Behold] I am going to bring my servant, the Branch [C the Messiah; Ps. 132:17; Is. 11:1; 42:1; Jer. 23:5; 33:15]. 9 Look, I put this stone in front of Joshua, a stone with seven ·sides [L eyes]. I will ·carve a message [engrave an inscription] on it,’ says the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts]. ‘And in one day I will ·take away the sin [remove the iniquity] of this land.’
10 “The Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says, ‘In that day, each of you will invite your neighbor to sit under your own grapevine and under your own fig tree [C symbols of security and prosperity; Is. 36:16; Mic. 4:4].’”

3 Entonces me mostró a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, que estaba de pie ante el ángel del Señor, y a Satanás, que estaba a su mano derecha como parte acusadora. 2 El ángel del Señor le dijo a Satanás:
«¡Que te reprenda el Señor,
que ha escogido a Jerusalén!
¡Que el Señor te reprenda, Satanás!
¿Acaso no es este hombre
un tizón rescatado del fuego?»
3 Josué estaba vestido con ropas sucias en presencia del ángel. 4 Así que el ángel les dijo a los que estaban allí, dispuestos a servirle: «¡Quitadle las ropas sucias!» Y a Josué le dijo: «Como puedes ver, ya te he liberado de tu culpa, y ahora voy a vestirte con ropas espléndidas».
5 Entonces dije yo: «¡Ponedle también un turbante limpio en la cabeza!» Y le pusieron en la cabeza un turbante limpio, y le vistieron, mientras el ángel del Señor permanecía de pie. 6 Luego el ángel del Señor le hizo esta advertencia a Josué: 7 «Así dice el Señor Todopoderoso:
»“Si andas en mis caminos
y cumples como sacerdote,
entonces gobernarás mi templo
y te harás cargo de mis atrios.
¡Yo te concederé un lugar
entre estos que están aquí!
8 »”Escucha, Josué, sumo sacerdote,
y que lo oigan tus compañeros,
que se sientan en tu presencia
y que son un buen presagio:
Voy a traer a mi siervo,
voy a traer al Renuevo.
9 ¡Mira, Josué, la piedra
que ante ti he puesto!
Hay en ella siete ojos,[a]
y en ella pondré una inscripción.
¡En un solo día borraré
el pecado de esta tierra!
—afirma el Señor Todopoderoso—.
10 »”En aquel día, cada uno de vosotros invitará a su vecino a sentarse debajo de su vid y de su higuera, afirma el Señor Todopoderoso”».
