牧人见弃
11 黎巴嫩哪，开开你的门，任火烧灭你的香柏树！ 2 松树啊，应当哀号！因为香柏树倾倒，佳美的树毁坏。巴珊的橡树啊，应当哀号！因为茂盛的树林已经倒了。 3 听啊！有牧人哀号的声音，因他们荣华的草场毁坏了；有少壮狮子咆哮的声音，因约旦河旁的丛林荒废了。
命恤将杀之羊以二杖牧之
4 耶和华我的神如此说：“你撒迦利亚要牧养这将宰的群羊。 5 买它们的宰了它们，以自己为无罪。卖它们的说：‘耶和华是应当称颂的！因我成为富足。’牧养它们的并不怜恤它们。 6 耶和华说：我不再怜恤这地的居民，必将这民交给各人的邻舍和他们王的手中。他们必毁灭这地，我也不救这民脱离他们的手。” 7 于是，我牧养这将宰的群羊，就是群中最困苦的羊。我拿着两根杖，一根我称为“荣美”，一根我称为“联索”。这样，我牧养了群羊。 8 “一月之内，我除灭三个牧人，因为我的心厌烦他们，他们的心也憎嫌我。 9 我就说：‘我不牧养你们。要死的由他死，要丧亡的由他丧亡，余剩的由他们彼此相食。’”
折一杖以明废与民所立之约
10 我折断那称为“荣美”的杖，表明我废弃与万民所立的约。 11 当日就废弃了。这样，那些仰望我的困苦羊，就知道所说的是耶和华的话。 12 我对他们说：“你们若以为美，就给我工价；不然，就罢了。”于是他们给了三十块钱，作为我的工价。 13 耶和华吩咐我说：“要把众人所估定美好的价值丢给窑户。”我便将这三十块钱，在耶和华的殿中丢给窑户了。
又折一杖以明绝二国之谊
14 我又折断称为“联索”的那根杖，表明我废弃犹大与以色列弟兄的情谊。
愚牧遘祸
15 耶和华又吩咐我说：“你再取愚昧人所用的器具。 16 因我要在这地兴起一个牧人，他不看顾丧亡的，不寻找分散的，不医治受伤的，也不牧养强壮的，却要吃肥羊的肉，撕裂它的蹄子。 17 无用的牧人丢弃羊群有祸了！刀必临到他的膀臂和右眼上，他的膀臂必全然枯干，他的右眼也必昏暗失明。”

11 黎巴嫩哪！敞開你的門戶，
好讓火吞滅你的香柏樹。
2 松樹啊！哀號吧，因為香柏樹已經倒下，
雄壯的樹木都毀壞了；
巴珊的橡樹啊！哀號吧，
因為茂密的樹林被砍下來了。
3 聽牧人們哀號的聲音，
因為他們榮美的草場毀壞了；
聽少壯獅子吼叫的聲音，
因為約旦河邊的叢林毀壞了。
4 耶和華我的 神這樣說：“你要牧養這將被宰殺的羊群。 5 那些買了牠們的宰殺牠們，也不算為有罪；那些賣牠們的說：‘耶和華是應當稱頌的，因我成了富足的人。’牠們的牧人並不憐恤牠們。 6 因此我必不再憐恤這地的居民（這是耶和華的宣告）。看哪！我把他們各人交在他的鄰舍和君王的手中。他們必摧毀這地，我必不救這地的居民脫離他們的手。”
兩根杖的比喻
7 於是，我牧養這將被宰殺的羊群，就是羊群中最困苦的；我取了兩根杖，一根我稱為“恩寵”，另一根稱為“聯合”。這樣我就牧養了羊群。 8 在一個月之內我除滅了三個牧人。我的心厭煩他們，他們的心也討厭我。 9 我就說：“我不再牧養你們了；那將要死的，讓他死吧！那將要被除滅的，讓他被除滅吧；那些餘剩的，讓他們彼此吞食對方的肉吧！”
10 然後，我拿起我那根稱為“恩寵”的杖，把它折斷，表示要廢除我與萬民所立的約； 11 那約就在當日廢除了。這樣，那些仰望我的困苦羊群，就知道這是耶和華的話。 12 我對他們說：“你們若看為美，就給我工資；不然，就算了。”於是，他們稱了三十塊銀子作我的工資。
13 那時，耶和華對我說：“你要把銀子丟給陶匠。”那銀子就是他們認為我應得的高價。我就拿了那三十塊銀子，在耶和華的殿裡丟給陶匠了。
14 我又折斷那稱為“聯合”的另一根杖，表示要廢除猶大和以色列之間的手足之情。
拋棄羊群的牧人有禍了
15 耶和華又對我說：“你去取愚昧牧人的裝備來。 16 因為我要在這地興起一個牧人；那些快要喪亡的他不看顧，失散的他不尋找，受傷的他不醫治，強壯的他不餵養，他卻要吃肥羊的肉，撕掉牠們的蹄子。
17 “那丟棄羊群的無用牧人有禍了！
願刀劍落在他的膀臂和他的右眼上；
願他的膀臂全然枯槁，
願他的右眼完全失明！”

11 Open your doors, Lebanon,(A)
so that fire(B) may devour your cedars!
2 Wail, you juniper, for the cedar has fallen;
the stately trees are ruined!
Wail, oaks(C) of Bashan;
the dense forest(D) has been cut down!(E)
3 Listen to the wail of the shepherds;
their rich pastures are destroyed!
Listen to the roar of the lions;(F)
the lush thicket of the Jordan is ruined!(G)
Two Shepherds
4 This is what the Lord my God says: “Shepherd the flock marked for slaughter.(H) 5 Their buyers slaughter them and go unpunished. Those who sell them say, ‘Praise the Lord, I am rich!’ Their own shepherds do not spare them.(I) 6 For I will no longer have pity on the people of the land,” declares the Lord. “I will give everyone into the hands of their neighbors(J) and their king. They will devastate the land, and I will not rescue anyone from their hands.”(K)
7 So I shepherded the flock marked for slaughter,(L) particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock. 8 In one month I got rid of the three shepherds.
The flock detested(M) me, and I grew weary of them 9 and said, “I will not be your shepherd. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish.(N) Let those who are left eat(O) one another’s flesh.”
10 Then I took my staff called Favor(P) and broke it, revoking(Q) the covenant I had made with all the nations. 11 It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord.
12 I told them, “If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.” So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.(R)
13 And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver(S) and threw them to the potter at the house of the Lord.(T)
14 Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.
15 Then the Lord said to me, “Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd. 16 For I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hooves.
