撒迦利亚书 10

耶和华应许拯救以色列
10 要在春季向耶和华求雨。
祂创造雷雨，
为世人降下甘霖，
使田间长出青翠之物。
2 因为神像说的是虚言，
占卜者讲的是谎话，
他们说的是假梦，
他们的安慰是空的。
所以人们如迷失的羊，
因没有牧人而受苦。
3 “我必向牧人发怒，
我必惩罚这些首领[a]。
因为我——万军之耶和华必眷顾我的羊群犹大家，
我必使他们像战场上的骏马。
4 房角石、帐篷的橛子、战弓，
以及所有掌权者必出自犹大。
5 他们必像战场上的勇士，
将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。
他们必争战，
因为耶和华与他们同在。
他们必使敌方的骑兵蒙羞。
6 “我必使犹大家强盛，
我必拯救约瑟家。
我必带他们回到故土，
因为我怜悯他们。
他们必好像从未被我抛弃一样，
因为我是他们的上帝耶和华，
我必应允他们的祷告。
7 以法莲人必如勇士，
他们必心里快乐，如同喝了酒，
他们的儿女见状也必快乐，
他们必因耶和华而欢心。
8 “我必吹哨聚集他们，
因为我救赎了他们，
他们必像从前一样人数众多。
9 虽然我把他们分散到列国，
他们必在远方想起我，
他们及其子女必得以幸存，
并且回到故土。
10 我必从埃及领他们回到故土，
从亚述招聚他们，
领他们到基列和黎巴嫩，
那里将不够他们居住。
11 祂必经过苦海，
击打海浪，
尼罗河必干涸，
亚述的骄傲必扫地，
埃及的势力必灭没。
12 我必让他们靠着我强盛，
他们必奉我的名行事。
这是耶和华说的。”

10 在春雨的季節，你們要向耶和華求雨。
耶和華閃發雷電，
給人降雨，使各人的田地生長蔬菜。
2 因為偶像所說的是空言，
占卜者所見的是虛謊，
他們所說的是假夢，
只給人空洞的安慰。
因此，眾人都如羊沒有牧人，流離困苦。
3 “我的怒氣要向這些牧人發作，
我要懲罰那些公山羊。
（因為萬軍之耶和華眷顧他的羊群猶大家，使他們像戰場上雄赳赳的戰馬。）
4 房角石、
帳棚樁、
作戰的弓
和所有的統治者，都從猶大而出。
5 他們必像勇士，
在戰場上把仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中，
他們必爭戰，因為耶和華與他們同在，
他們必使敵方的騎士羞愧。
主必拯救他的子民
6 我要使猶大家強盛起來，
我必拯救約瑟家。
我要使他們歸回，
因為我憐憫他們；
他們好像未遭我棄絕一樣，
因為我是耶和華他們的 神，我必應允他們。
7 以法蓮人必像勇士，
他們心中快樂，好像飲了酒一樣；
他們的子孫看見了，也必快樂；
他們的心必因耶和華歡樂。
8 我要向他們吹哨子，招聚他們，
因為我救贖了他們。
他們的人數要增多，像從前一樣。
9 雖然我把他們散播在萬民中，
他們仍要在遠方記念我；
他們與他們的子孫都要存活，並且歸回。
10 我要使他們從埃及地歸回，
從亞述地招聚他們，
帶他們到基列地和黎巴嫩山，
卻仍不夠容納他們。
11 他必經過苦難的海，
擊打海中的波浪，
尼羅河的深處也都要乾涸；
亞述的驕傲必降為卑；
埃及的權勢要過去。
12 我必使我的子民因耶和華而強盛，
他們要奉耶和華的名行事為人。”

10 Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the Lord of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.
7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.
8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
12 And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord.

Beloften van de Heer aan Juda
10 Zacharia zegt: Vraag de Heer om regen in de lente. Dan laat Hij het bliksemen en regenen. Hij zal regen genoeg geven voor alle planten. 2 Vraag niet aan de afgoden om hulp! De afgoden bedriegen. Wat de waarzeggers zeggen is niet waar. Zij kunnen jullie niet helpen. Daardoor dwalen de mensen rond als schapen die geen herder hebben en worden ze mishandeld.
3 De Heer zegt: "Ik ben woedend op de leiders van mijn volk. Zij zijn slechte herders van mijn kudde. En Ik heb hen gestraft. Maar Ik zal naar mijn kudde toe komen, zegt de Heer van de hemelse legers. Ik zal Juda sterk en moedig maken, een sterk leger, trots en moedig als het paard van de koning in de strijd. 4 Uit Juda zal de belangrijkste bouwsteen van het gebouw ontstaan,[a] de tentpin, de strijdboog, de machtigste heersers. 5 En de mannen van Juda zullen dappere helden zijn. Ze zullen hun vijanden vertrappen als vuil in de straten. Ze zullen strijden, omdat de Heer met hen is. Ze zullen zelfs vijanden te paard overwinnen.
6 Ik zal het koninkrijk Juda sterk maken. Ik zal het koninkrijk Israël redden. Ik zal hen terugbrengen omdat Ik medelijden met hen heb. Ik zal weer voor hen zorgen. Het zal weer net als vroeger worden, alsof Ik hen nooit heb verlaten. Want Ik ben hun Heer God. Ik zal hen redden als ze Mij om hulp roepen. 7 Ze zullen zijn als een held uit Israël. Ze zullen zo vrolijk zijn alsof ze wijn gedronken hebben. Hun kinderen zullen het zien en blij zijn. Ze zullen juichen van blijdschap over de Heer. 8 Ik zal hen naar Mij toe fluiten en hen verzamelen. Want Ik zal hen bevrijden. Het zal weer net zo'n groot volk worden als eerst.
9 Ik strooi hen wel eerst als zaad uit onder andere volken. Maar in die verre landen zullen ze zich Mij herinneren. Daardoor zullen zij en hun kinderen gered worden. En ze zullen met hun kinderen terugkomen naar hun eigen land. 10 Ja, Ik zal hen uit Egypte en uit Assur verzamelen. Ik zal hen terugbrengen naar het gebied van Gilead en de Libanon. Maar dat gebied zal niet groot genoeg voor hen zijn. 11 Ik zal voor hen uit gaan door de woeste zee. Ik zal de golven voor hen neerslaan. De rivier zal droogvallen. Ik zal een einde maken aan de trots van Assur. Egypte zal niet langer heersen. 12 Door mijn kracht zal mijn volk sterk zijn. Ik ben hun Heer. Ze zullen met Mij leven, zegt de Heer."
