3 你要對以色列人說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要轉向我，這是萬軍之耶和華說的，我就轉向你們，這是萬軍之耶和華說的。 4 不要效法你們的祖先。從前的先知呼叫他們說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說，當回轉離開你們的惡道惡行。』他們卻不聽，也不順從我。這是耶和華說的。 5 你們的祖先在哪裏呢？那些先知能永遠存活嗎？

3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
5 Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
