5 撒母耳又說：“你們要把以色列眾人都聚集在米斯巴，我好為你們向耶和華禱告。” 6 於是，他們聚集在米斯巴，打了水，澆奠在耶和華面前；當日他們禁食，並且在那裡說：“我們得罪了耶和華。”撒母耳就在米斯巴治理以色列人。

4 So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.
5 Then Samuel(A) said, “Assemble all Israel at Mizpah,(B) and I will intercede(C) with the Lord for you.” 6 When they had assembled at Mizpah,(D) they drew water and poured(E) it out before the Lord. On that day they fasted and there they confessed, “We have sinned against the Lord.” Now Samuel was serving as leader[a](F) of Israel at Mizpah.
