10 于是他们把 神的约柜送到以革伦。 神的约柜到了以革伦的时候，以革伦人就喊叫：“他们把以色列 神的约柜运到我们这里来，是要杀害我们和我们的人啊！” 11 于是他们派人去召集非利士人各城的首领前来，对他们说：“请把以色列 神的约柜送回原处，免得它杀害我们和我们的人民。”死亡的恐慌笼罩全城，因为 神的手重重地压在那里。 12 没有死的人都遭受痔疮的打击；那城的哀声，上达于天。

10 So they sent the ark of God to Ekron.(A)
As the ark of God was entering Ekron, the people of Ekron cried out, “They have brought the ark of the god of Israel around to us to kill us and our people.” 11 So they called together all the rulers(B) of the Philistines and said, “Send the ark of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it[a] will kill us and our people.” For death had filled the city with panic; God’s hand was very heavy on it. 12 Those who did not die(C) were afflicted with tumors, and the outcry of the city went up to heaven.

12 And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
