8 耶和华第三次呼唤撒母耳，他又起来，走到以利那里，说：“你呼唤我，我在这里。”以利就明白是耶和华呼唤这孩子。 9 因此以利对撒母耳说：“去睡吧！如果他呼唤你，你就说：‘耶和华啊！请说，仆人敬听。’”于是撒母耳回去，仍然睡在自己的地方。
10 耶和华又来站着，像前几次一样呼唤：“撒母耳，撒母耳！”他回答：“请说！仆人敬听。”

8 耶和華第三次呼喚他，撒母耳起來，到以利面前，說：「我來了，你叫我嗎？」這時候，以利才明白原來是耶和華在呼喚這孩子。 9 他就吩咐撒母耳說：「你回去睡吧，若再呼喚你，你就說，『耶和華啊，請吩咐，僕人恭聽。』」於是，撒母耳就回去睡下。 10 耶和華來站在那裡，再次像剛才一樣呼喚：「撒母耳！撒母耳！」撒母耳答道：「請吩咐，僕人恭聽。」

8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child.
9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
