提摩太后书 4

务要传道
4 在上帝和审判活人死人的基督耶稣面前，我凭基督的显现和祂的国郑重嘱咐你： 2 无论时机好坏，都要坚持传道，以百般的忍耐和教导督责人，警戒人，勉励人。 3 因为有一天，人们会厌倦纯正的教导，耳朵发痒，寻找许多迎合他们私欲的老师。 4 他们掩耳不听真理，反而偏向无稽之谈。 5 然而，你要谨慎行事，不怕吃苦，专心传道，尽忠职守。
6 我的生命如同奉献在祭坛上的酒正倾倒出来，我离世的日子快要到了。 7 那美好的仗，我打过了；当跑的路，我跑完了；所信的道，我持守住了。 8 从此，有公义的冠冕为我预备，按公义审判的主会在祂来的那一天把它赐给我，不但会赐给我，也会赐给所有爱慕祂显现的人。
最后的嘱咐
9 请你尽快到我这里来， 10 因为底马贪爱世界，离弃我跑到帖撒罗尼迦去了。革勒士去了加拉太，提多去了挞马太， 11 只剩下路加一人在我身边。你要把马可一起带来，因为他在传道的工作上对我很有帮助。 12 至于推基古，我派他到以弗所去了。 13 你来的时候，要把我在特罗亚时留在加布的外衣带来，也要带来那些书卷，特别是那些羊皮卷。
14 铜匠亚历山大做了许多恶事害我，主必按他的所作所为报应他。 15 你也要提防他，因为他极力反对我们所传的道。
16 我第一次在法庭申辩的时候，没有人帮助我，众人都离弃了我，但愿他们不会因此而获罪。 17 然而主站在我身旁加给我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地传给外族人。主把我从狮子口里救了出来。 18 主必救我脱离一切凶险，带我进入祂的天国。愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

Preach the Word
4 (A)I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to (B)judge the living and the dead, and by His (C)appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach (D)the word; be ready [a]in season and out of season; (E)correct, rebuke, and [b]exhort, with [c]great (F)patience and instruction. 3 For (G)the time will come when they will not tolerate (H)sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, 4 and they (I)will turn their ears away from the truth and (J)will turn aside to myths. 5 But as for you, (K)use self-restraint in all things, (L)endure hardship, do the work of an (M)evangelist, fulfill your (N)ministry.
6 For I am already being (O)poured out as a drink offering, and the time of (P)my departure has come. 7 (Q)I have fought the good fight, I have finished (R)the course, I have kept (S)the faith; 8 in the future there (T)is reserved for me (U)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on (V)that day; and not only to me, but also to (W)all who have loved His (X)appearing.
Personal Concerns
9 (Y)Make every effort to come to me soon; 10 for (Z)Demas, having loved (AA)this present [d]world, has deserted me and gone to (AB)Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to [e](AC)Galatia, (AD)Titus to Dalmatia. 11 (AE)Only (AF)Luke is with me. Take along (AG)Mark and bring him with you, (AH)for he is useful to me for service. 12 But I have sent (AI)Tychicus to (AJ)Ephesus. 13 When you come, bring the overcoat which I left at (AK)Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 (AL)Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; (AM)the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself too, for he vigorously opposed our [f]teaching.
16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; (AN)may it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and (AO)strengthened me, so that through me (AP)the proclamation might [g]be (AQ)fully accomplished, and that all (AR)the Gentiles might hear; and I was (AS)rescued out of (AT)the lion’s mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will [h](AU)bring me safely to His (AV)heavenly kingdom; (AW)to [i]Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
19 Greet Prisca and (AX)Aquila, and (AY)the household of Onesiphorus. 20 (AZ)Erastus remained at (BA)Corinth, but I left (BB)Trophimus sick at (BC)Miletus. 21 (BD)Make every effort to come before (BE)winter. Eubulus greets you, also Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers and sisters.

(C)Convince, (D)rebuke, (E)exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 (F)For the time will come when they will not endure (G)sound doctrine, (H)but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and (I)be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, (J)endure afflictions, do the work of (K)an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Paul’s Valedictory
6 For (L)I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of (M)my departure is at hand. 7 (N)I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me (O)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous (P)Judge, will give to me (Q)on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
The Abandoned Apostle
9 Be diligent to come to me quickly; 10 for (R)Demas has forsaken me, (S)having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Get (T)Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry. 12 And (U)Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13 Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.
14 (V)Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. 15 You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words.
16 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. (W)May it not be charged against them.
The Lord Is Faithful
17 (X)But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, (Y)so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered (Z)out of the mouth of the lion. 18 (AA)And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. (AB)To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
Come Before Winter
19 Greet (AC)Prisca and Aquila, and the household of (AD)Onesiphorus. 20 (AE)Erastus stayed in Corinth, but (AF)Trophimus I have left in Miletus sick.
21 Do your utmost to come before winter.
Eubulus greets you, as well as Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brethren.
Farewell
22 The Lord [c]Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
