当顺服掌权者
3 你要提醒众人，叫他们顺服做官的、掌权的，遵他的命，预备行各样的善事。 2 不要毁谤，不要争竞，总要和平，向众人大显温柔。 3 我们从前也是无知、悖逆、受迷惑，服侍各样私欲和宴乐，常存恶毒[a]、嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨。 4 但到了神我们救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈爱显明的时候， 5 他便救了我们，并不是因我们自己所行的义，乃是照他的怜悯，借着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。 6 圣灵就是神借着耶稣基督——我们救主厚厚浇灌在我们身上的， 7 好叫我们因他的恩得称为义，可以凭着永生的盼望成为后嗣[b]。
信徒当做正经事业
8 这话是可信的。我也愿你把这些事切切实实地讲明，使那些已信神的人留心做正经事业[c]。这都是美事，并且于人有益。 9 要远避无知的辩论和家谱的空谈，以及纷争并因律法而起的争竞，因为这都是虚妄无益的。 10 分门结党的人，警戒过一两次，就要弃绝他。 11 因为知道这等人已经背道，犯了罪，自己明知不是，还是去做。
12 我打发亚提马或是推基古到你那里去的时候，你要赶紧往尼哥波立去见我，因为我已经定意在那里过冬。 13 你要赶紧给律师西纳和亚波罗送行，叫他们没有缺乏。 14 并且我们的人要学习正经事业[d]，预备所需用的，免得不结果子。
15 同我在一处的人都问你安。请代问那些因有信心爱我们的人安。愿恩惠常与你们众人同在！

專心行善
3 你要提醒眾人順服執政掌權者，遵守法令，隨時準備做善事。 2 不要毀謗，不要爭吵，要謙和、恭敬地對待每一個人。 3 從前我們也愚蠢、悖逆、易受迷惑，受各種私慾和享樂的驅使，心裡充滿了嫉妒和惡念，令人憎惡，也彼此憎恨。 4 但我們的救主上帝向人彰顯了祂的恩慈和仁愛， 5 藉著重生之洗和聖靈的更新拯救了我們，這並非因為我們有義行，而是因為祂的憐憫。 6 上帝藉著我們的救主耶穌基督把聖靈豐豐富富地澆灌在我們身上。 7 這樣，我們既然靠著祂的恩典而被稱為義人，就可以成為後嗣，有永生的盼望。 8 以上這些話是可信的，希望你認真教導，使信上帝的人專心行善。這都是造福眾人的美事。
9 要避免愚昧的爭論、有關家譜的辯駁和律法上的爭執，因為這些毫無益處。 10 對於製造分裂的人，警告過一兩次後，要和他斷絕來往。 11 因為你知道這種人已經背道犯罪，自定己罪。
信末的囑咐與問候
12 我會派亞提馬或者推基古去見你。到時候，你要立刻到尼哥波立來見我，因為我決定在那裡過冬。 13 你要為西納律師和亞波羅送行，盡力幫助他們，讓他們路上一無所缺。 14 我們的弟兄姊妹也要學習行善，供應有急需的人，免得毫無貢獻。
15 這裡的弟兄姊妹都問候你，也請你問候那些因信仰而愛我們的人。

Titus 3
King James Version
3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14 And let our's also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
