9 那麼，主就知道怎樣拯救敬神的人脫離試煉[a]，卻把不義的人留在懲罰之下，直到審判的日子， 10 尤其對那些隨從肉體而在汙穢的欲望中生活[b]、輕視主權者的人，更是這樣。
這些人膽大、任性，毫不戰兢地褻瀆那些有榮耀的。 11 就算是天使們，雖然有更大的力量和權能，也不在主面前用毀謗的話控告他們。

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
