問安
1 耶穌基督的使徒彼得，
致那些蒙揀選，分散在本都、加拉太、卡帕多細亞、亞細亞、比提尼亞寄居的人， 2 就是按照父神的預知，藉著聖靈分別為聖，以致順從耶穌基督，又蒙他寶血所灑的人：
願恩典與平安多多地加給你們！
活的盼望
3 願頌讚歸於神——我們主耶穌基督的父！他照著自己極大的憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死人中的復活，使我們重生，得著永生的盼望， 4 得著不會朽壞、不會玷汙、不會衰殘、保存[a]在天上的繼業； 5 你們藉著信，在神的大能中蒙保守，以至於那預備好要在末世顯現的救恩。 6 為此，你們歡欣跳躍，但如今必須在種種試煉中暫時憂傷， 7 好讓你們的信仰經過考驗，就比那被火煉過仍然會朽壞的金子更加寶貴，能在耶穌基督顯現的時候，被看為是可以得著稱讚、榮耀和尊貴的。 8 你們雖然沒有見過他，卻愛他；雖然如今看不到他，卻信他，並且懷著無法描述、充滿榮耀的喜樂而歡欣跳躍， 9 因為你們正在領受你們信仰的結果，就是靈魂的救恩。
10 關於這救恩，那些預言你們要得著這恩典的先知，曾經尋求過，詳細查考過。 11 他們查考了自己裡面基督之靈，當他預言有關基督的苦難和此後的榮耀時，究竟指明的是什麼時候、或什麼樣的情況。 12 他們蒙了啟示，知道所服事的這一切，不是為自己，而是為你們。如今，這些事藉著從天上派來的聖靈，通過那些向你們傳福音的人，傳講給了你們；對於這些事，天使們也渴望能詳細察看。

13 因此，你們要約束自己的意念[b]，要謹慎，要把盼望完全寄託在耶穌基督顯現時帶給你們的恩典上。 14 做為順從的兒女，不可效法你們原先愚昧無知時的那些欲望； 15 相反，正如召喚你們的那一位是聖潔的，你們在一切行為上也當成為聖潔的， 16 因為經上記著：「你們當成為聖潔的，因為我是聖潔的。」[c]
17 你們既然稱不偏待人、只按每個人的行為施行審判的那一位為父，就應當懷著敬畏的心，過你們寄居的日子， 18 因為你們知道，你們被救贖，脫離祖先所傳下來的虛妄行為，不是憑著會朽壞的東西，如銀子或金子， 19 而是憑著那像羔羊一樣毫無瑕疵、毫無玷汙的基督寶血。 20 基督在創世以前就已經被神[d]預先知道，又在這末後的時代為你們的緣故顯明出來。 21 藉著基督[e]，你們信靠那使他從死人中復活、又賜他榮耀的神，以致你們的信仰和盼望也都在於神。
22 你們既然藉著順從真理，[f]使自己的靈魂[g]純潔，以致有了不虛假的弟兄之愛，就應當以潔淨的心[h]，彼此熱切地相愛。 23 你們得以重生，不是出於會朽壞的種子，而是出於不朽壞的種子，是藉著神永活長存的話語， 24 因為，
所傳給你們的福音就是這話。

Amplified Bible
A Living Hope, and a Sure Salvation
1 Peter, an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Jesus Christ,
To those [elect—both Jewish and Gentile believers] who live as exiles, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia [Minor], and Bithynia, who are chosen(A) 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by the sanctifying work of the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ and to be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace [that special sense of spiritual well-being] be yours in increasing abundance [as you walk closely with God].(B)
3 Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and boundless mercy has caused us to be born again [that is, to be reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,(C) 4 [born anew] into an inheritance which is imperishable [beyond the reach of change] and undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are being protected and shielded by the power of God through your faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice greatly, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, 7 so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not even see Him now, you believe and trust in Him and you greatly rejoice and delight with inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 receiving as the result [the outcome, the consummation] of your faith, the salvation of [a]your souls.
10 Regarding this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace [of God] that was intended for you, searched carefully and inquired [about this future way of salvation], 11 seeking to find out what person or what time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He foretold the sufferings of Christ and the glories [destined] to follow. 12 It was revealed to them that their services [their prophecies regarding grace] were not [meant] for themselves and their time, but for you, in these things [the death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ] which have now been told to you by those who preached the gospel to you by the [power of the] Holy Spirit [who was] sent from heaven. Into these things even the angels long to look.
13 So prepare your minds for action, be completely sober [in spirit—steadfast, self-disciplined, spiritually and morally alert], fix your hope completely on the grace [of God] that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14 [Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation]. 15 But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy.”(D)
17 If you address as Father, the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in [reverent] fear [of Him] and with profound respect for Him throughout the time of your stay on earth. 18 For you know that you were not redeemed from your useless [spiritually unproductive] way of life inherited [by tradition] from your forefathers with perishable things like silver and gold, 19 but [you were actually purchased] with precious blood, like that of a [sacrificial] lamb unblemished and spotless, the priceless blood of Christ.(E) 20 For He was [b]foreordained (foreknown) before the foundation of the world, but has appeared [publicly] in these last times for your sake 21 and through Him you believe [confidently] in God [the heavenly Father], who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are [centered and rest] in God.
22 Since by your obedience to the truth you have purified yourselves for a sincere love of the believers, [see that you] love one another from the heart [always unselfishly seeking the best for one another], 23 for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God. 24 For,
“All flesh is like grass,
And all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers
And the flower falls off,
25
But the word of the Lord endures forever.”
And this is the word [the good news of salvation] which was preached to you.(F)

1 耶 稣 基 督 的 使 徒 彼 得 写 信 给 那 分 散 在 本 都 、 加 拉 太 、 加 帕 多 家 、 亚 西 亚 、 庇 推 尼 寄 居 的 ，
2 就 是 照 父 神 的 先 见 被 拣 选 ， 藉 着 圣 灵 得 成 圣 洁 ， 以 致 顺 服 耶 稣 基 督 ， 又 蒙 他 血 所 ? 的 人 。 愿 恩 惠 、 平 安 多 多 的 加 给 你 们 。
3 愿 颂 赞 归 与 我 们 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 父 神 ！ 他 曾 照 自 己 的 大 怜 悯 ， 藉 耶 稣 基 督 从 死 里 复 活 ， 重 生 了 我 们 ， 叫 我 们 有 活 泼 的 盼 望 ，
4 可 以 得 着 不 能 朽 坏 、 不 能 玷 污 、 不 能 衰 残 、 为 你 们 存 留 在 天 上 的 基 业 。
5 你 们 这 因 信 蒙 神 能 力 保 守 的 人 ， 必 能 得 着 所 预 备 、 到 末 世 要 显 现 的 救 恩 。
6 因 此 ， 你 们 是 大 有 喜 乐 ； 但 如 今 ， 在 百 般 的 试 炼 中 暂 时 忧 愁 ，
7 叫 你 们 的 信 心 既 被 试 验 ， 就 比 那 被 火 试 验 仍 然 能 坏 的 金 子 更 显 宝 贵 ， 可 以 在 耶 稣 基 督 显 现 的 时 候 得 着 称 赞 、 荣 耀 、 尊 贵 。
8 你 们 虽 然 没 有 见 过 他 ， 却 是 爱 他 ； 如 今 虽 不 得 看 见 ， 却 因 信 他 就 有 说 不 出 来 、 满 有 荣 光 的 大 喜 乐 ；
9 并 且 得 着 你 们 信 心 的 果 效 ， 就 是 灵 魂 的 救 恩 。
10 论 到 这 救 恩 ， 那 预 先 说 你 们 要 得 恩 典 的 众 先 知 早 已 详 细 的 寻 求 考 察 ，
11 就 是 考 察 在 他 们 心 里 基 督 的 灵 ， 预 先 证 明 基 督 受 苦 难 ， 後 来 得 荣 耀 ， 是 指 着 甚 麽 时 候 ， 并 怎 样 的 时 候 。
12 他 们 得 了 启 示 ， 知 道 他 们 所 传 讲 （ 原 文 是 服 事 ） 的 一 切 事 ， 不 是 为 自 己 ， 乃 是 为 你 们 。 那 靠 着 从 天 上 差 来 的 圣 灵 传 福 音 给 你 们 的 人 ， 现 在 将 这 些 事 报 给 你 们 ； 天 使 也 愿 意 详 细 察 看 这 些 事 。
13 所 以 要 约 束 你 们 的 心 ， （ 原 文 是 束 上 你 们 心 中 的 腰 ） ， 谨 慎 自 守 ， 专 心 盼 望 耶 稣 基 督 显 现 的 时 候 所 带 来 给 你 们 的 恩 。
14 你 们 既 作 顺 命 的 儿 女 ， 就 不 要 效 法 从 前 蒙 昧 无 知 的 时 候 那 放 纵 私 欲 的 样 子 。
15 那 召 你 们 的 既 是 圣 洁 ， 你 们 在 一 切 所 行 的 事 上 也 要 圣 洁 。
16 因 为 经 上 记 着 说 ： 「 你 们 要 圣 洁 ， 因 为 我 是 圣 洁 的 。 」
17 你 们 既 称 那 不 偏 待 人 、 按 各 人 行 为 审 判 人 的 主 为 父 ， 就 当 存 敬 畏 的 心 度 你 们 在 世 寄 居 的 日 子 ，
18 知 道 你 们 得 赎 ， 脱 去 你 们 祖 宗 所 传 流 虚 妄 的 行 为 ， 不 是 凭 着 能 坏 的 金 银 等 物 ，
19 乃 是 凭 着 基 督 的 宝 血 ， 如 同 无 瑕 疵 、 无 玷 污 的 羔 羊 之 血 。
20 基 督 在 创 世 以 前 是 预 先 被 神 知 道 的 ， 却 在 这 末 世 才 为 你 们 显 现 。
21 你 们 也 因 着 他 ， 信 那 叫 他 从 死 里 复 活 、 又 给 他 荣 耀 的 神 ， 叫 你 们 的 信 心 和 盼 望 都 在 於 神 。
22 你 们 既 因 顺 从 真 理 ， 洁 净 了 自 己 的 心 ， 以 致 爱 弟 兄 没 有 虚 假 ， 就 当 从 心 里 （ 从 心 里 ： 有 古 卷 是 从 清 洁 的 心 ） 彼 此 切 实 相 爱 。
23 你 们 蒙 了 重 生 ， 不 是 由 於 能 坏 的 种 子 ， 乃 是 由 於 不 能 坏 的 种 子 ， 是 藉 着 神 活 泼 常 存 的 道 。
24 因 为 凡 有 血 气 的 ， 尽 都 如 草 ； 他 的 美 荣 都 像 草 上 的 花 。 草 必 枯 乾 ， 花 必 凋 谢 ；
25 惟 有 主 的 道 是 永 存 的 。 所 传 给 你 们 的 福 音 就 是 这 道 。
