12 玛律的居民，
急待得着幸福，
因有灾祸从耶和华那里降下，
临到耶路撒冷的城门。
13 拉吉的居民哪！
要用快马套车，
这就是锡安子民（“子民”原文作“女子”）罪恶的开端；
因为以色列的过犯，
都在你那里找到了。
14 因此要把妆奁，
送给摩利设．迦特；
亚革悉的各家，
必用诡诈对待以色列的众王。

渴望得到拯救，
因為耶和華已把災難降到耶路撒冷的城門。
13 拉吉的居民啊，
用駿馬套車逃命吧！
是你們首先唆使錫安城犯罪，
在你們身上看到了以色列的罪惡。
14 去向摩利設·迦特贈送告別禮物吧！
亞革悉人必令以色列諸王受騙上當。

12 For the [a]inhabitant of Maroth [b]waiteth anxiously for good, because evil is come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem. 13 Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O [c]inhabitant of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. 14 Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be [d]a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.

because disaster(B) has come from the Lord,
even to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 You who live in Lachish,(C)
harness fast horses to the chariot.
You are where the sin of Daughter Zion(D) began,
for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.
14 Therefore you will give parting gifts(E)
to Moresheth(F) Gath.
The town of Akzib[b](G) will prove deceptive(H)
to the kings of Israel.
